Pizza Shops

@shopperbob I think OOP = out-of-pocket

Well, I think the issue with these new shops was that no one knew the entire shop guidelines and requirements until one self-assigned. As others have mentioned, the reimbursement amount is the same across all types of shops - for both carryout and third-party delivery order type, and including all competitor shops with a wide range of prices.

Im fine some shops with low or no shop fee if the food is desirable and will feed my family as well as FULLY reimbursed (i.e. Texas Roadhouse, Stony River for a date night, etc..). Its also crazy to me how the burger shops will reimburse (almost fully) and shop fees will go as high as $30 in my area, yet the chicken shops are almost $4 below full reimbursement for the box combo and no shop fee. These pizza shops are just another example of how inexperienced shoppers are lowering the standard of what is acceptable. Kudos to all of you who self assigned then declined. I may pick one up eventually IF the location is near me for a carry out and they add on some sort of compensation for my time. Otherwise, I will use a coupon and order a pizza that I actually like.
Just to clarify, the flat fee was $30 for two pizzas, delivered. It was $43 just for the pizzas. And how laughable they think I'm going to play games and try to find a coupon to lower the price.
Ok so I self assigned one. It’s a delivery from the app. There is a $5 off $30 order coupon on the app. The required order comes to $30.29 so I’ll be able to use the $5 off and tip. The two pizzas are two that my family will eat (pepperoni and supreme). We’ll see how this goes over the weekend.
A bunch of Jersey Mikes showed up here with the notorious no fee dining shop folks last week. I can only assume that they they have multiple narrative sections. I have no interest is a cold sub for reimbursement only, but a number of people have taken them with no fee.

Wow! You were able to purchase two large pizzas on the app with taxes and tip for around $30?. I looked up the prices on the pizzas website first( to compare it to the Doordash price) and they wanted 25 for one of the pizzas and I knew right then to cancel the shop.
Yes! One was $6.99 and the other was $13.99, then tax, etc.. unsure the exact numbers off hand but yes will fall within reimbursement. I’m shocked.

I saw this too. I like Jersey Mikes, but I'm not about to do a shop, take pictures, answer questions and submit narrative for a free sandwich and not even have it be one I might prefer because of their strict ordering guidelines.

Bob agrees--Concisely stated and logical; daddy "hit the nail on the head."
I did one Jersey Mike's for the no fee company and will never do another, although I love Jersey Mike's. Narrative, photos and check the back of the building plus phone call..um..no thanks. I did one last week for a different MSC that was bonused to $24 and paid for the sandwich. Too bad I forgot to take the picture before eating half of it and had to get another one...and I prefer NOT to get it Mike's Way, but had to..ugh..at least the pay was ok.

As far as these pizza ones, with all the wonderful pizzerias in my neck of the woods, I would NEVER choose to get one from a chain, although my hubby likes Dominos Philly Chstk pizza, which actually is pretty good. Otherwise, no, never ever and being oop (BOB...out of pocket) is crazy.

Thanks. I believe I checked that MSC when I first saw the thread and there were/are none in my area. Then some of the threads led me to believe there may be two MSCs doing them or even one of the apps. Saw nothing on the apps either.
In my area, it's the Pizza Pizza! Notoriously low quality. Usually carry out pizza. There is no way I would take this for no fee. We don't even like the pizza and because you have to order through third party app, I'm sure it'll be 30 bucks for pizza that if I drove a mile down the street I could pick up for five bucks each.
