Google AI and the Safety Vest

Last week after a bunch af gas station shops, I had a problem with my USB cord, so I uploaded my photos to Google Photo. The photos contained a lot of safety vest shots, as I normally use the camera app to capture those instead of Presto. From that moment on, almost every ad fed to me on YouTube is for safety equipment, talking about how I am in charge of safety at my company, and I should only use the best, blah blah. Moments like this remind me of how much I hate Google.

Google = jacks of all trades, masters of none.

It's amazing how much they miss across their broad range of products...

Have synthesizers, will travel...

Never, never use the "camera" selection in Presto to take photos. Always take the photos with your phone and use the "Pick from file" option in Presto. That way, you always have the photos when the Presto app crashes or loses the photos.

Presto saves photos on my phone in the DCMI/PHOTOS/PRESTO folder. Yes, there are times Presto might freeze when taking a photo, used to happen a lot with my old phone. But with my new phone with more memory and stuff it has never been an issue.
This cloud thing could explain how, sometimes when I google a gas station, the photos are of exactly what is required on a shop. Overall, pump, canopy, sign, etc.
Everywhere we shop has pictures that my son took and posted on Google maps.. Building pics, inside pics, dining room pics, pump pics, overal site pics. And if you open the pictures up individually, it shows his name and the year he took the pictures. That Google "local guide" thing is a great excuse for taking pictures when folks question you about it too.
