five guys vs raising canes!

Same MSC for both.

I like the food from both, but the report seems much more lengthy from RC than it does from 5g. RC offers NO pay to start with. Neither shop reimbursement covers the required expense (at least in Southern California).

I can't believe people would do RC for $11 reimburse and NO pay. That report was awful and having to navigate thru 20 pages to do the report...Ugh! I so much prefer Sassie where it is all on 1 page and I can save and jump right back to an "oops."

I did RC for $7 bonus and it's still not worth it to me. I think I would rather take a BASE PAY of $9 for a 5G over a $7 bonus from RC just from the amount of work involved.

Yes, I consistently hold out on FG for $25 fee within 5 miles, $40 fee within 15 miles, and $60 fee within 75 miles. Folks who do shops for low fees just ruin it for us who are patient.

STOP doing shops for current base pay!

I do quite a few of both and have actually timed myself on the reports. Canes is longer but becomes really easy after you do a few and there is NO TYPING INPUT needed as there is on 5G. Bigdaddy- I know you like to get a couple meals out of your shops as I do. The Caniac Combo feeds 2 of us in my household. I usually wait til they go to at least $14 and then ask for a senior discount (10%), so my OOP expense is under $2 for 2 meals.

I have not done a Canes shop in a very long time, but I thought Discounts/coupons were not allowed .. Unless it was another shop..

@ShopperGirly

I fed 2 people with the Caniac combo. Combo was $18.xx. So after reimburse of $11 and bonus, i was out of pocket less than $1. But the point I'm making is, it feels like so much more work for the RC shop with NO pay than it does for the 5G shop that starts with $9 pay.

I can do Panda shop with another MSC and feed 2 people and still make a profit and the report is easier.

I try not to shop "for free food." I am willing to accept the "free food" as payment for Texas Roadhouse because that is a $50 reimburse and I don't want to spend $50 on my own and can feed 3 people something we like better for $10 and be served rather than it be fast food.

I'm just thinking of all these people who take them for $0 pay or even $3 pay. Just does not seem worth the effort to me. I would take 5G shop at $9 pay before I take RC shop again (and I don't do base pay for 5G).
I see RC on the board with only $11 reimbursement. In my are it is not cover the meal. I got once email from MSC and replied back about such issue. The next day it was on the board with $7 bonus, so I picked it up.
