JobSlinger Plus alerts

Been doing this for about 6 months now. Would appreciate some help. I signed up for JobSlingerPlus (paid) so I’d get alerts when new shops are posted. I have e-mail and text alerts enabled. At first, I got frequent texts and a daily email. Now I no longer get the texts. I tried adjusting settings. Anyone experienced this, or have a better system for getting notified as shops are posted? Thsnks in advance.

cancel it. its useless. just use the free account. shops are feast or famine there is little rhyme or reason. the only things that are rules of thumb are shops are often bonused towards the end of the month and the amount of them increases during the holidays. other than that its anyones guess. get presto instant shopper, gigspot, and isecretshop on your phone. those are all free and will cover the vast majority of shops on jobslinger. the best ones are not on large boards so you need to sign up with the 100 plus companies listed. unless you live in a major metropolitan area or travel frequently dont expect much.

shopping north west PA and south west ny
I cannot comment on Jobslinger...but first thing I would say is STOP PAYING. All the info is free. I'm not sure what "service" they are providing, but most of us do NOT pay for anything like this. Maybe some other long term shopper does, but I think most of us are opposed to this.

How difficult is it to sign into Jobslinger daily to see if something interesting to you post? A couple of minutes?

If you take cooldudes advice they'll email you new shops as they get them.

Once you've been doing this for a while, you might find the MSC shutting off email notifications because your email provider marked them as Spam and rejected the MSC emails.

Just reactivate emails under your profile and check your junk mail files and mark "not junk" for real emails.
Thanks for the feedback and advice. I check a few times a day, but since I’m in a metro area the shops can go quick. Was looking for a TRH shop (hit my 90 days mark) but they were snatched up this month. I didn’t know about gigspot or isecretshop. I do have to change my contact e-mail b/c my hotmail one has been refusing messages, randomly. Frustrating..
