Blaze Pizza

These are back in my area after not being offered for a few years. I have one tomorrow. The guidlines state that you must order a pizza (any size, any toppings) and a salad, beverage, or dessert are all optional. You can also order anything else, but the reimbursement is $30. Has anyone ordered two pizzas? If you have done one of these, comment as to what you ordered. Also, they want a picture of the bottom of the pizza, but do not specify. It seems like last time, I just lifted one piece up and took a picture.

I have not seen it on my boards. Haven't done one in years. Is it the same company that used to do them?
Yes, same company as before.

What is "your area"? I'm not seeing them on job board in the greater Phoenix area or in Southern California when searching with 50 mile radius. Wonder if it's a specific franchise with many locations, but NOT corporate run shop.

I just ate there yesterday. They went downhill big time after they paused shopping.
There were five online orders ahead of us. No other in-store customers. They let us wait until they made all 5 online orders before starting our pizzas. No explanation and no eye contact.
Time from placing order to placing the red sauce on the dough = more than 5 minutes.
Tip for employees who get $20/hour = $0
I generally tip everyone $5 because I just don't care. But if they don't at least act like they care, it's a goose egg from me.

This chain used to be great - except the San Clemente, CA store (shopping or not - it was always terrible).
Many locations have closed.

I haven't done one of these, but now I think I know the MSC. They apply the same kind of requirements to other pizza places in my area. With the you can order additional items verbiage, I found that there's no restriction. But probably best to ask.

None that I frequent, but I believe you.
Shopping area for me: Northern CA coast & Southern CA coast. No central CA coast, except maybe 1-2 times a year.
There were only two locations aside from UCLA in all of West la. One closed months ago. The open one has lots of issues. Staff turnover seems constant, the work counter covered with sauce and toppings debris, crusts crumpled. It is sad.
I thought the old Msc was out of business.
They can really use a mystery shop program.
I could have sworn I saw Blaze recently with an MSC that was not the 5-8 sentence per subsection company. But since I did it once for that company long ago, and found it way too much work for a froufrou tiny pie, I promptly disregarded it and can't remember where I saw it.

Oh, I used to do these all the time but hated the timings. I'll have to see if these are in my area again.
No more timings to the extent they once were!

I just came across a shop for Blaze in Los Angeles. it was a shop listing several different pizza companies and Blaze was listed among them, a delivery shop however it had to be done within 10 hours and the window for doing the shop is more than 10 hours away. Maybe I will catch it again sometime in the future when I can do it.
