Happy Halloween - Disguises?

or disfraces as we say in Mexico lol.

I've read of shoppers who wear disguises while MSing. I presume this might allow them some flexibility for shop rotations, but not sure?.
I never have, for any reason.
Have you? how did it help or why did it matter?

I personally don't shop on Halloween. Staff that we shop are of a different mindset today, and are more festive for the day and may do things they ordinarily wouldn't. Then, you have the whole "halloween costume probably isn't acceptable for the report" issue if it's a shop where the uniform is judged. In my opinion, it's not the most "fair" day to shop someone. So, I sit it out.

I don't think you meant Halloween type disguises, did you? I took it to mean real-life changing your appearance on a regular shop.

Yes, I was referring to regular disguises. I wanted to know if any shoppers here use them.

It was just a coincedence that I asked on Halloween, which is linked to holiday disguises
and it appears that even though I thought I worded it clearly, that created some confusion.

Oh well lol.

I take jobs based upon requirements and compensation. Yes, I would wear a disguise if the shop fee made it worth my time and effort. I have no issue wearing a wig, glasses, or anything they ask of me. We are literally paid actors for most of these shops anyway.

I would wear disguises if I had any to wear.. Best I can do is take off the wrap on my head and look older than I already do. I don't own any wigs, or I would probably already wear them because I hate my hair.

I will wear glasses and then switch to contacts. I will wear something colorful and then switch to all black or blue. I only do this for locations where I will be for a long time, such as an airport or sports venue.

Once I shopped a jewelry store and put on my important gold earrings and a thick gold bracelet that normally I would wear to a formal party.

I think a good disguise would cost more than the job would pay. Wearing a bad wig is only going to draw more attention, not less. If you happen to have a selection then it makes sense, but I wouldn't be able to pull it off.
