Product Audit - Is this a joke?

They are offering $31 pay for this project.

This audit contains 105 items to check.

PROJECT DETAILS:

-Complete a pre-check online from home. Product list attached and can also be obtained from the Project Manager. The product list contains a link to each item. Check your local store for availability and if available, note where located.

-Update the app noting if something is not found (not available) or where it is located in the store.

-IN STORE - Look for the specific item. If exact match if not available, look for the next closest item of the same brand and type.

-Note if product is an exact match or similar item.

-Gather country or origin details - includes where manufactured, assembled, etc. This needs to be the FULL text that is on the package/product. **Review the project briefing for examples.

-Take a photo showing the country details on the package/product.

-Take a photo of the product showing product name and model number (if applicable).

-Scan product UPC (this is the UPC on the package, not the shelf tag)

-If no product UPC available to scan, enter the product model number.

Complete this process for each item.

There is no way you're going to be in an auto parts store that long without having some kind of interaction with an employee. Those stores are not big enough and that's going to take enough time that you're going to be possibly outed.
Well and not to mention, the amount of data for each product. You are going to be inspecting the package looking for stuff, entering info, scanning...absolutely no way. I do see they boosted these from $30 to $31, so there's that. $1!!!! I swear they are nuts over there.

Bob comments--As nuts as foxes. The industry is quiet aware there are shoppers struggling for income. As such, if hundreds or thousands of people are mass contacted, perhaps a few are so desperate they must, and will, bite.
This is the exact type of shop that I got burned on when I first started. I spent all kinds of time running around and the store, for a fact, did not carry many of the items. So my shop was ultimately rejected. I scroll by these so fast now!
