Hotel bar and restaurant closed--do I get paid?

I have reached out to Coyle, but have not gotten a response. I had a hotel bar and restaurant shop last night. The hotel was open, but the bar and restaurant were closed due to the chef and bartender quitting! They had no staff. I took pictures and emailed but have not heard back. I wonder if I will get paid the $20 shop fee. Has this happened to anyone else with this company?

Going to depend on the client. Knowing Coyle , you will have to write 30 sentences reiterating the bar was closed and how you found out why Lol.
HA HA HA I went ahead and proactively submitted the report with the explanation and pictures!

Some shops will say that you have to verify that they are open before you go. So check if that's the case in your shop instructions. Others will say that if you go and are not able to shop for some unforeseen reason, they will pay you a small consolation fee.
Thanks for the responses here. I have yet to hear back from Coyle and my shop is still pending validation.
Update: they never responded but the shop is now showing, “ok to pay.”
