$20 bank shops on ISS?

I'm seeing bank inquiries with all major brands. These are posted in I Secret Shop for $20

Post says Anywhere in these states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI

Prism Intelligence? I don't think I've ever done anything for them. Unless they changed their name from someone else. Also not going to start now for $20. I do other bank shops for more $. I'm sure the people who jump all over the "brochure shops" at $9 will get excited for these as well.

Never heard of that company. Read what was required. Shop fee too low. Having done shops for other companies at B of A every shop turns into a very long experience. Did an account opening recently took over 90 minutes. Copy machine not working, the banker failed to give me all required documents. Had an issue with the very long wait for one teller to make deposit. Then msc questioned why required form was not provided as if I know why except incompetence and broken copier! . No thanks to any B of A shops…and the one I mentioned paid $70 not $20,

Thanks for the heads up but yes, the fee is way too low for what is required.

I've shopped for PI. They're OK.
The following comment is NOT directed toward Prism, rather the type of job. Over a 19 yrs. period, I have completed in excess of 500 banking shops of various categories. The ONLY type I would consider at $20, is a teller transaction where I would be in the area and which included a brief report. My recommendation is that a shopper avoid any other scenarios as if they included the plague. My account inquiry fee begins at $50 and an opening at $130.
I haven't done a shop for them but they've been around a while.

There do seem to be companies that have banking shops for much higher rates, so I would pass on these.
Yes, the stagecoach bank company with the "big I" pays better for openings. Starts at an okay amount, but bonuses well above $100. I've done a couple for $200. But I can do them for $130 like TerminatorBob says.

I don't do the checking/saving openings for the MSC that @OldmanJames does for $70. I have done a credit card one just because I needed a 0% card and it was paying decently enough to go thru it.
I saw them and decided to try one. The description seems fairly simple. And I don't have to make an appointment. I figure it can't hurt to try. And if it's as simple as they say, then I'll do more.
The business accounts are more rare to see. But at one MSC, the reports started off as teller interactions at $50 as competitor shops and then increased to $100. Once they weren't getting filled, they lifted the account requirement to also allow for an inquiry scenario. There was a limit though. But this shop was more concerned with branch layout and virtual self-serve machines being present.

Prism Intelligence is the the company behind the iSecretShop platform.

About 10 minutes before I was going to head into the branch I got an email saying that all of the shops had been cancelled. I was trying to recheck the guidelines before I got out of the car.
They reached their limit. Prism is a valid company.

Sounds like Prism is a crap company if @Morledzep had shops scheduled that got cancelled while basically on-site.
Aren't Prism Intelligence / Intouch Insight / GCS / ~Ipsos~ / See Level HX all the same company now?

Prism has its own MSP agreement. What makes you think that they are part of InTouch Insight?

I'm seeing these shops listed once again on ISS. Maybe they changed what is needed or they are going to do this monthly now? I'm sure @Morledzep can't wait to try again :-P
MSCs fall onto one of three pay categories. In my opinion, Intouch is in the second group. They are willing to ante, but only when absolutely necessary. In the 17 yrs. of our association, the current tally, including two in the past 10 mos., is 11 shops. All were quickly paid as agreed.
The scenario I see today is different than the one I did last week. I decided to do another pone today, at a different bank.

I decided to give one a try tomorrow. For me, the shops are three small business scenarios. Also, for me, I currently don't see a reschedule date available beyond tomorrow, if I needed to extend it.

Hm, it looks like I did a business credit card inquiry shop with Prism Intelligence earlier this year. For me, no issues with that shop.
I did one of these as it’s very quick. Very simple form. 15 minutes for shop and form. You don’t have to meet with a platform representative. It’s ok to make the inquiry from the teller and get your information from them (unless they refer you to someone else - but they won’t do that if there’s a wait). I am choosy about bank shops. If it’s a long inquiry about opening a checking account and a form with narratives I expect minimum of 30.

Hm, I think the appointment itself will go by quickly. Most of these banks have a small business specialist, but one section is 45 questions. More general questions and easy to recollect, but interested to time myself on how long the report takes.
