My cootie infestation is not official until I receive a confirmed diagnosis by a medical professional! -lol- I'm a creature of habit, so I stick with either grilled shrimp, fried catfish, or chicken tenders (whatever they call them there.) For sides it's usually a baked sweet potato and mashed potatoes.

The joke in my family is when I was a kid, and we'd go to a cafeteria, I wasn't allowed to order both of my favorite foods - mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I could only have one "starch." The first time I went to Luby's as an adult, I ordered both and then turned to look at my mother, trying not to laugh. She knew immediately what was going on.

Before we went in, I cautioned my mother not to "volunteer" any information regarding her order to give the waitstaff a chance to do their job. So, she orders first, and when she's through - in front of the server - she looks at me and says, "Was that okay?" -facepalms-

Oh, that's actually how I would have gone about it, as well. Just kidding. But, when she asks, "Was that okay?" Don't you just want to hug her? A+ for effort!

Today (midnight has passed) is a specialized grocery store. Good pay + reimbursement. Doesn't come around often, but a nice treat when it does.

Grocery store. Finishing up a report from a dinner shop last night.

Today is the first of a 4-day route over my fall break from teaching.

I start with a Quick Quack car wash, then a Chevron Customer First that I rescheduled from earlier this week. Then it's on into Idaho to do 9 Phillips 66 Darkness shops before I crash at my hotel for a coupla three hours before heading out for the next P66 Darkness to start Day 2.

This is a pretty extensive route I've put together, and I'll be documenting/analyzing in a post once I'm done.

Nowhere! Yay! Just finished a fine dining report. I think it took over 3 hours (feeling slow). Thank goodness the meal was really good. Out on the road tomorrow though.

I'm feeling very somber. It's a weird time for me because I'm winding down my old "job" (mystery shopping, merchandising, and audits) and beginning my new work-from-home job. It'll be nice to have a steady, guaranteed paycheck, but man am I going to miss the schedule flexibility. -sighs softly- So today was BJ's for lunch, two Kroger fuels, and a highly bonused Best Buy. Other than some RQA work, I don't have anything else on the books.

Today was my usual Tuesday lap around the city stopping at my usual 6 hotels auditing the event boards, and also doing a store or 2 for the new frozen item product recall.

2 teller shops, 1 CSR, 2 Wawa, 2 product recalls, 1 HAZMAT scenario

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

Today we did groceries in 3 cities and some gas stations driving back and forth. Then we stopped for grinder rolls at BJ's because I found hot links at one of the grocery stores!! It's been 9 years since I had a hot link and now I'm not hungry. Wish we could get Farmer John hot links, but I'll take what I can get.

I would like to find out more about these event board shops...a few times/month I go to a nearby city, so that's a possibility. Any clues you are able to give, are appreciated.

Have a day off from work today. Today is finishing a long report. Tonight is some bonused P66 EIA Darkness. However, the c-stores at these locations are 24/7, where it's going to be longer than what I'm accustomed to.

2 merch gigs....one checking on vacuum cleaner demos, and the other, checking on some vitamins in Target.

Getting up early tomorrow morning for my long day...one insurance shop, one grocery shop, many personal errands, meeting a friend for lunch....and voting ahead of the crowds.

I put in a bid for a late night shop, they accepted, so now I have to leavy my house after dark (edited because the forum changed my emoji into ????)
