Bank shop on the drive back home from work.

I was going to pick up some more of those Chevron Customer First shops, but dang, someone picked up them all up in one cluster. Must've been low on gas.
Department store and oil change.

Going to a restaurant I shopped before for an event tonight. Sad I'll be footing the bill this time but happy for no report!
1 grocery store
- got an email invite to apply for a couple gas stations nearby....$7 for several pics and a report of course
and a purchase, but no reimbursement for the purchase...hard, hard, hard pass
Brand new chickies today, 50 of them.. probably not even going to do the P66s that I have scheduled.
Already did two apartment video shops and two Customer First gas stations today. About to get a car wash before I head out on an overnight dark Famous Highway gas station loop.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Fine dining. Restaurant was the most beautiful one ever Delicious food, wonderful service.
-checks my calendar-
complaining at the wagon wheel
browsing TVs with the blue shirt guys
stuffing my face with wings and other things

Typical Friday.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
1 Wawa, 2 bank drive-thru shops, 1 Best Buy TV, 1 steak house faux party reservation by phone

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Planning on some shops at a shopping mall tomorrow. Spending the day with my niece tomorrow with her parents being out of out town, and hope to keep her occupied for a while. Maybe some ice skating towards the end.
Tonight is fine(ish) dining. The food should be awesome but not looking forward to this MSC's requirement to get every person's name including bussers and runners.

Yuck. If you miss one, do they reject your report?

I have no idea. Luckily my better half has no trouble asking people their names. I tend to get awkward about it. It's also not the kind of place where they wear nametags.

That would be all kinds of awkward for me. After the first "You look familiar; what's your name?" I'd be out of excuses for asking.

Yeah, I definitely squirm. My SO will ask for something like a condiment and when they return he'll ask their name and then thank them by name.

Or, the one that really makes me laugh is we'll say we have a reservation and they'll ask the name and then he'll ask their name.

If that's not his natural behavior, you've trained him well! It just occurred to me, that some of us might have done the same dept store shop.

Well, two of the people were only at the table twice. First one I asked her name and if she had a sister named x. She said her name and not sister but her mother's name was x! Lol. Second person we stopped and asked to get us a spoon and then started asking him all about some flaming dish. SO awkward to ask!

Hm, are you sporting any new clothes or shoes?

With food runners and assistants who make a quick hit and run, that could get awkward. Especially if their body language is set to walk away right after. I can only recall one shop I did where that was required, but a description was ok.

The shop I did was for attire, but couldn't purchase a discounted item. I ended up getting a casual shirt right under reimbursement. I let the associate recommend one, but then I steered him to the brand I wanted. It's a brand usually not available at discounted stores. The reimbursement for these shops used to be higher, but I thought it wasn't too bad.

How much was your reimbursement amount? I'm guessing it's the same place but that we might not be the same gender lol.

$50 reimbursement. The narrative took about 10-15 minutes for me.

I'm male. I was looking at past shops. Earlier this year, it was $100 reimbursement for shoes. Then dropped to $70 reimbursement for a recent shop. This recent shop was the first one I've seen for attire. How about you?

I don't recall seeing them much earlier, I think I've seen them for the past 2-3 months.

My SO also does some shopping and did $70 for shoes. I don't recall seeing $100 but there may have been targeted emails for jobs that I never saw.

With current prices it can feel like a stretch to find much that is within the reimbursement limit!
Hm, I checked and the $100 reimbursement was back in March. If the reimbursement keeps going lower, he might just want to pass on the shop. For shoes, the client doesn't really have anything that you can't find somewhere else, and it's cheaper there! Unless he was already planning to purchase a specific pair and comes out ahead with the reimbursement.

Oh wow, I don't remember seeing them that far back at least for women. I don't always check the boards though and my email actually ends up filtering out a lot of eblasts which can be a blessing and a curse.
Planning on Shell MMP tomorrow ... printing out forms. Going to be a dozen pumps. Planning on taking 100 pictures, just in case. You never know.
Texas Roadhouse. It was a good meal and only went over by a buck and some change. Just wish I didn't have to write about it now. -lol-

I'm heading for Western AL to do some nicely bonused gas station shops. I'm also going to try to find some lunch and dinner shops over there so I don't have to come home after being out all day and cook.
