Bob Evans

For those in the areas that this restaurant operates, a shopping company just posted a bunch of Bob Evans shops. $8 pay, but just $20 reimbursement. Are they just for 1 person only?

You mentioned both the client and the MSC in your post.

-wails- I love me a Bob Evans biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast; of course, they don't have a single location in Texas.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
Yea, I'd be more interested if the reimbursement was a bit higher. I have no interest in going to a sit down restaurant solo.
So, the OP likes that the post violates forum rules, and won't make the required edit?

All of the locations I clicked on had available dates.

I looked again and it's stilled greyed out. No dates are highlighted to select. I've emailed this MSC about this issue before and they never do anything about it. I just have to keep checking and wait for it to allow me to select.

180 day rotation. Hopefully these are not a one-off. Maybe then we'll see bonuses down the road.

All grayed out for me on the three locations of The Bob within 60 miles of me.

Seriously so many folks act like this not just on this board but everywhere. You have been around 6 years I am sure you didn't mean to say the client and the MSC. And I am sure you have other things to do then refresh this page every 30 minutes. Heck I log in like once a week!
Thanks. Yes. I am not new and don't create that many threads and I did forget about naming both.

I agree that biscuits and gravy is the thing to get there!

You can mostly cover two people for the $28

Bob Evans is a restaurant? Seriously? The only thing I've ever seen with that name on it, is the premade stuff in the grocery store that tastes like fake food. Where in the world is this restaurant so I can make sure to check it out when I'm in the area?

It is indeed a restaurant. Here is the link for you to use to find out if there are any near a zip code that you input: [www.bobevans.com] and here is their menu: [www.bobevans.com]

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
There are 6 locations within 10 miles and 27 locations within 30 miles of where I live.

I did one of these this past week and have two more planned for the next week or so. $20 can actually get you pretty far if you stick to some of the basic breakfast items and lighter fare. They have a "pick 2" lunch special for $9 that's pretty decent. It even comes with your choice of bread. A drink is not required either so you can get water. The photo requirements are reasonable enough and they don't ask you to get all carried away with writing a novel about your experience. I actually enjoyed my experience and would go back again sometime on my own dime to get a decent homestyle meal. But in the meantime there are other shops waiting!
My only experience with Bob Evans has been because they seem to have locations near the lower cost motels I tend to stay at that don't have a free breakfast. But I haven't traveled in 10 years or so. They were all good in my recollection. Like a Denny's on steroids.

I've seen the Bob Evans sides in the grocery store. But I've found the packages of boil water mashed potatoes flakes of acceptable quality now and cost less.

Your description is interesting. I had been thinking about saying that Bob Evans serves "comfort food" in the way that Denny's can only dream of doing. I find the in-restaurant Bob Evans food to be delicious and fairly priced.

Appreciate the information! Is it a solo shop only?

There is no guest requirement, and you can order whatever you want.

I just did one of these and it may have been one of the worst shops I have reported, aside from a Cracker Barrel one I did a couple years ago. The bathroom was horrible, a griddle was down so service was slow, service itself was not good. Asked for a refill on my caramel mocha and it took over 20 minutes and didn't even have the mocha. The staff looked like they just rolled right out of bed. It's been a while since I have been to Bob Evans. I thought it was supposed to be a little better than IHOP but I was wrong.
Wow! I almost picked one of these up but decided it wasn't worth the drive for the pay. Im glad that I didn't. Service is not like it used to be!

Depends on the location, of course. I'm up to my 8th (yes, 8th) shop this weekend in my area. I didn't think I would be "down on the farm" so much in the past month, but the shops have been easy to do, the food pretty tasty, and the service from decent to good. Plus they added some nice bonuses.
