Mattress shop shows "Invalid"

Did 2 mattresses today and I've done many before never ever had a problem. Anyhow I just did my report, 2 pictures. Narrative maxed out the allotment. Spell checked. All done. Now when I look on my register for completed shop it doesn't say "In QC" -- it says "invalid"....I only submitted 2 minutes ago!.

Anyone have ideas? This is the "who wants a burger" MSC. Thanks

It could be the wrong date or time were entered. That's the first thing that comes to mind for a 2-minute decision. But usually that would get caught in the earliest questions.
I emailed help desk. Anyone know or think they'd let me correct the date or time if I put it in wrong?
Hm, you mentioned two shops. Not sure if you did (you may have not), but if you accidentally submitted the same photo for the second shop, that will get automatically rejected. Help Desk will need to resolve/fix it for you.

One time, I entered the wrong date b/c I was doing the report after midnight. It still got submitted and into QC, but later got accepted. I think QC updated it for me b/c I saw the updated date after it got accepted.

Not sure, but sometimes if a shop is under a strict deadline, as long as it meets the minimum report requirements, it will get automatically accepted after you submit the shop. So that could be a possibility, but I don't think that's the case with the mattress shops.

There's also the off chance you may need to wait some time between shops. Not sure if you did (you may have not) accidentally entered overlapping times between the two shops.

I believe they can correct it for you if you provide them with the date and times.
Thanks - well I did email help desk just asking why it's invalid. If it's dates or times hopefully they'll tell me and allow me to resolve it.
There is probably a disqualifying question that you answered wrong. Like when I used to do their grocery shops, I said I didn't go to the bakery dept because it was shut down and dark behind the counter. The correct answer was that I DID go to the bakery department, but I was not helped because there was no one there to help me. That shop was automatically invalidated, no qc involved.
OK, plot thickens. I had 2 mattresses - same day.

Shop #1- I had put in the wrong "OUT" time...... however before anything was deemed invalid, and BEFORE I submitted my 2nd shop ....I emailed the help desk with my correct "out" time

Shop #2 - I submitted it with the right times BUT - because of my mistake on Shop #2 it shows overlapping times, so their system automatically did "invalid" to Sop #2 and I got that email this morning.

So I replied to the help desk, respectfully saying that I documented my "time out" mistake on Shop #1 well before I submitted Shop #2.....and if they are willing to look at that email from me, they'd see it was an honest mistake that I caught -- not to mention I have pictures, Associate names etc - -indeed I did both shops.

I guess it's up to them now.
From my experience, Help Desk will likely sort it out and fix it for you. However, I’ve read from other shoppers that they were not able to get it sorted out and resolved. Hopefully it works out for you!
My guess is (with no evidence to support), they will not accept and question your other answers too. If you made a "mistake" on the date/time, you could have made "mistakes" elsewhere on the report too, right?

If you were the one getting a report from someone and they told you they did something wrong, it would be easy to fix and not question, but my twisted mind would make me worry what other answers did you get wrong.

I always go thru the entire report again before submitting (with this MSC) because I know how "harsh" they can be.

I'm NOT saying you should not be paid or that they should NOT correct a simple mistake. I'm only pointing out that if you submitted "faulty" information, then can any of the report be trusted? We all make mistakes and none of us our perfect. I've done the same things. I am just coming at it from a different angle.

Not sure how it is now, but I agree that I had a similar experience in the past. I think when I first started out years ago, something like this happened to me as well. As easy as the reports are, if something gets flagged, it can turn up being a PITA.
YEP, I did submit the wrong "out" time on the first shop. No question - my fault. Mind you. I've done perhaps 70 shops with this MSC - this is 1st mistake so if it makes my reports suspect - oh well, that's their choice I respect it.

I emailed HelpDesk immediately after the 1st report because I realized the time mistake so it's not like I only notified them after I got an "invalid".

Today with my email to help desk I've send (2) Geo-Verified TimeStamp pics. One from each shop showing the times are right on and not overlapping.

I said in my email that it's my mistake, hopefully the Geo-Verified pics help and we can all benefit. If not, I said I respect he decision and apologized for my mistake.

I've had deals where I've made or lost 6 to 7 figures.

At this point I hate I made a mistake, but not much more I can do for the 30 bucks.

Family wants pizza for lunch. They got Covid shots yesterday so they are too tired to go out. I'm gonna sneak in a hoagie on the ride back from the pizza place, Wifey doesn't need to know.

Oh, the shop tongue sticking out smiley
Yes, women tend to have more keen intuition and sensory skills. That's why I love having my gf on dining shops, she is much better at easily noticing and picking up on things that I can completely overlook.

Yes they do.. My wife has helped me several times on dine in shops where it requires two people smiling smiley
Well the saga ENDS and it wasn't good for the home team.

BOTH shops are marked invalid. I had (2) Mattresses back-to-back

My mistake to recap:

Shop #1 I put in the wrong "Out" time -- so that made it an overlapping time with my "IN" time for the 2nd ship.

When I submitted report #1 I did email the Help Desk within 20 minutes about my mistake and asking them to correct it. Never heard back.

When Shop #1 showed invalid - I emailed help desk with (2) pictures - Shop #1 and Shop #2 - Geo-Verified with time and date.

Well. now BOTH shops are invalid. So I emailed today once more - showing both geo-verified pictures. I wasn't confrontational - I apologized for my one mistake, and said I was more concerned that they see the geo-verified pictures to know I was being truthful and not lying about going to the shops.

Ugh. I've done so so many shops for this MSC and I never ever made a mistake. Now (2) invalids on the same day! Was going to take a 4 shops with them for today-tomorrow but I think I'll take a break and just focus on a few extra ACL's for a few days and then get back on it.

I hope they don't cut me off. Perhaps 75 shops total with them. Now 2 invalids because I made one mistake. Not blaming them, blaming me. Hope they don't think I'm a scammer lol.

Saving grace is the delicious Indian Buffet is next to one of them. I'd have gone there for lunch anyway so I'm not out any money for gas etc.

And....Jerry Matthews, as The Beaver.
Aww, that's too bad, Booey. Sulk and kick the dirt for a couple minutes, and then put it aside. This stuff happens to all of us at one time or another.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
Yes ---- and thanks. I'm just 'one' shopper but I was looking at my history, perhaps average 5 a month with them for 2 years now. Hopefully that means something and these 2 invalids dont get me cut off.
I have no knowledge of their policy these days, but hopefully it doesn't have a bearing on your standing. I remember getting an Invalid in my early days, and I still see it to this day when I login. More than five years after, I got one more recently. I suppose it's nice to have as a reminder.

You would think they could show a little grace especially since you caught the mistake and let them know.

I'm not saying it's an excuse, we should all probably check our work, but some formats make it difficult to click through and check your work. Also, some shops are *just* barely worth it. For some, when I'm walking away with less than $20 for a shop either in reimbursement or combined with pay, I really do have to consider how much of my time it's worth. Even if something is "easy" by the time you sign up for it, add it to your spreadsheet, travel to the shop, do the shop, travel home, do the survey, possibly answer follow up questions and possibly have to chase after your payment, well, sometimes it just leaves you scratching your head about the value proposition.
OK...... GOOD FORTUNE HAS SMILED.

This morning I got an email (not signed so I dont know from whom) from MF help desk. They said they were able to look at my case and were able to make the corrections and use the shops so now they are not "invalid"!

The money is nice of course but I'm just so glad that 2 invalids won't be on my record for such a clumsy reason.

Hopefully moderators are ok, but I'll do a shout out for this it's only fair.
