what o you think of a store manager outing you to the whole store when you're in the middle of a shop?

I mentioned before about the Verizon shop manager outing me as the mystery shopper. Is it the store manager responsibility to out the mystery shopper? I thought we are there to test the employee. There are shops for phones, tablets and ear buds. How can we do a shop if the manager outs us as we walk in? How would you handle this?

I don't know how I would handle it. Probably abort. But when we test employees, the ultimate responsibility for their performance falls on the managers, so we are testing them too.

By outing you they are stopping you from reporting. Someone is going to question why shops are not being reported for those stores.
I recently did a cell phone shop for another MSC. They require a picture of your hand in front of the store. On the selfies, do the store managers see your picture on the report? If they see your picture they know who's giving them good or bad reports.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
I remember ServiceHand (lolwut, did I just type that?) ServiceAward made a comment about inquiring if a shopper was wearing a wedding ring. ... Maybe, to emulate the raising/waving hand emoji in Zoom? ... Maybe to make it less awkward than the selfie? ... Well, now it seems like the "selfie" requirement is insisted upon by the client, as well? ... Ok, this went south. It is STRANGE.

It's true. It's with another MSC. Your "Naked" hand (if you get my drift) selfie is a requirement.
Regarding the selfies for these shops, has anyone ever done a timelapse photo reel of their selfies? To me, it was a nice way to be able to visually see my health/fitness progress. Although not done for appearance, but just another indicator that I'm on the right track. Also, not to be taken out of context, I noticed I was getting darker and darker. I'll stop the awkwardness now.

I'm thinking about picking up a shop for a location very close to me. I was thinking about a three-tier feedback system with my hand - thumb up, thumb down, middle finger. If I have to resort to the bottom two, I'm not sure how it'll go.

I try to avoid looking at the selfies but can't really. Scares the crap outta me every time.
