If you could only do one type of shop, what would it be?

Any shop, to the point where I get paid. For the work I put in.

I've done fine dining, fast food, spas, casinos, retail, as they call it, cell phone shops, new car shops, fast casual, I think they're called electronics shops now.

If the pay is fair for the effort I have to put forth, there's not a shop i wouldn't do.

Without question, I would only do $200+ at closed locations for the few MSCs that pay full fee for just one photo of the closed sign.
I would do a resort shop every other month. I used to do a lot of dining but for me they are no longer worth it.

I wish I had a small business that I can earn a bunch of points and then cash them at the resorts. On my last bar shop at a hotel, a guy sitting next to me said he had several million hilton points to burn…
Why does no one want to do those crappy $2-$4 phone shops? :-P

I would do the WF ATM complaint shops daily if I could. It stinks that we have to wait every 10 days to do this. I would do as many as possible each day if they allowed it. Those are really some of the simplest shops that do not require me to leave the house.
I'll end up with quite a few Hilton points to burn soon... my husband has to travel for 8 weeks of training, hotel stay for 60+ nights paid for by his employer and points for us!

That's a good way to accumulate points. Hilton points are easy to keep active.

One thing I missed about consulting pre-COVID were the reward points through travel credit cards. The team I worked on, we were required to be on-site at the client location four days of the week. The weekly schedule was leaving Sun/Mon and returning Thu/Fri. There was an option to stay over the weekend.

That will get you diamond status. You need 10 years of diamond status to get it for life. I have 7 years. This year will be 8.
I just learned that my $50 onekeycash rewards from Expedia expired. I had thought they reset the expiration when they did the big rewards merger last year, but they kept the old expiration dates. Expedia did a horrible job relaying that though. Grrr!
I think we had it for a while as we used to have the Hilton credit card...
We stay probably 20+ nights a year in a hotel, the problem is it's not all with one brand. Lots of softball/ baseball tournaments are 'stay to play' meaning the tournament director decides what teams stay at what hotel.

One night hotel stays where I get breakfast, dinner, and three free drinks. My second choice would be grocery pick up shops. I try to pay little to nothing for my groceries.
Alta's quick-version truck stop shops. So easy and fast to do and report, they're worth it even at $10. I've had them bonus up to $25 in my area, though normally they peak at $18. $18-$25 for 5 minutes shop and 5-minute report? Yes please!
I have to agree with HBbigdaddy... Curinos shops If i could do them more frequently . I would love to do dining shops for sit down non American/non European foods but unfortunately those are generally mom and pop places not shopped.
If there were enough of them, I would do only video shops for the rest of my working life. If I had any time left over, I would add revealed gas station audits.
Gas station audits are my preferred shop. I plan routes and can pick up far away locations with a bonus. And I travel with gas cans.

It seems gas stations audits are a clear favorite, which I had already picked up on from the endless threads about them. I don't have any of the shopped station brands where I live and I feel like I am really missing out!!

I think I am a unicorn, but Field Agent shops are my favorite. I don't need to apply for jobs or plan ahead. I don't need to interact with anyone or remember anything. I don't have to write any narratives. When I leave the store the shop is submitted and there is nothing more to do.
I think you are the first personon tohave liked Field Agent. I might need to take another lool at it.
Not sure if I am familiar with those ? Are they with Trendsource? those field agent audits?
Field Agent is the name of an app that you would need to install on your phone. I don't believe that it has any connection to TrendSource.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Gas shop for me but I also enjoy hotels when travelling as I am retired.

Willing to travel, Alberta, Canada
