I pinch myself for office building lobby visits (good pay, short report, 10-15 minutes max on site). There are a ton near me, and I can usually get two done on a single lunch hour from my FT job. Also I've had good luck and lots of treats lately with the Presto VISA shops (even though they are a "kick myself" shop for many people here).

Kick myself - fancy meals with required bar where my husband gets drunk (on one drink!) and is no help with remembering anything.

Ha ha. Sounds like he needs to switch to Shirley Temples!
I pinch myself with the Quik Trip jobs. They are simple and pay pretty well. It's hard to get any of them because they are personally assigned by the scheduler to one person in my main area. All the other areas are personally assigned to only one person as well because you see their names always pop up on the top score list. I wished IPSOS would get QT's. At least there would be a rotation on them.

I kick myself on Texas Roadhouses. I've been doing them for years and always keep thinking to myself that I will receive great service and/or great food this time when I assign it to myself. But, I rarely receive good service and/or food.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

This is my first time hearing about the top score list where do you find it?

I cannot do restaurant shops with another person. I ALWAYS forget something and its usually a picture of the meal BEFORE taking a bite lol

This is another problem with taking my one-drink-drunk husband. I have to hiss at him not to touch the food the second it hits the table!!!!!

It's amazing how motivated you can be to put back together a half-eaten bloomin' onion when $70 is on the line.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
I regret those price scanning shops every time I do them. I hate doing them but those bonuses are so tempting.

the MSCs that advertise them need to PAY MORE. Their prices for the time spent there are ridiculous.
The "Pinch Me" shops are the car counting ones. Maybe because I have a hybrid so sitting for the 15-20 mins doesn't really cost me anything as I do the survey and photos for a quick $10-15 in return. I'd also say the amusement park ones I've done where I get more tickets for my family in return for doing the work.

As for the "Kick Me" ones, I'd say the potted plant audits where the survey form goes on and on and you don't know if you have enough photos all for a measly $10. I'm also thinking the gas station branding audits where the amount of detailed photos is so extensive, you find yourself re-uploading photos because one small promo sticker is still on a random pump that shouldn't be there.
the costume jewelry shops that require removing 200 plus items and opening 200 plus items and putting them back on display...definitely a kicking myself one...not that terrible but I always underestimated the time it takes...
Last month I pinched myself for scoring a $200 price checking audit with only 100-150 items at a major truck stop which is only 35 miles west of me and only takes about 3 hours to complete. And then was offered the same shop again over the weekend, which I gladly accepted.

I would kick myself in the you know where, if I ever accept another Fail a Test and get paid shop. They take forever, describing the layout of the room (which I’m horrible at since I’m an over-explainer) and I absolutely hate asking the ladies at the counter if they know a way that I can basically “cheat” so I don’t fail again. I think that’s just immorally wrong! They’d have to offer me a lot more than the $125 I was getting a few years back for those retched shops.
OOOhhhh I don't think I've seen a Pandora shop posted in my area yet. Maybe it's snapped up before I see it. I recently saw a Swarovski shop to purchase and keep something, but I wasn't assigned. I do enjoy the luxury retail shops that pay well or let you keep a purchase. I've bought some nice perfume that way.
Pandora shops ended years ago. Maybe about 8ish??

I did Swarovski shops years ago and they had a decent reimbursement (for something small). I haven't seen them in a long time but I don't remember the company and may have gone inactive with them.
Last time I did a Lowes was for $100. For that I'd wait around for 30 min in a department (which I did), but not for less!
I like Boar's Head. Everyone in the house eats it and it's a quick survey. They've started making it photo only and not buying the meat, so I'll probably stop.
What are they like? I have repeated emails, calls, and texts about doing them at the Big C but have not been enticed enough to do the training. They sound like they will take forever and I have not bothered with them. Glad to know they likely are not worth it.

Darn! Maybe they’ll show up again, eventually. Fingers crossed

I’ve only seen it once so I don’t think they’re shopped often. It’s the same company that does luxury handbag/fashion shops.

Hi. UK member here. I often go dining with another MSer. We are famous for not remembering to take photos before we eat. Therefore we have become experts at carefully doing minor rearrangements to food on the plate - moving chips (French fries to you folks) around to cover up the fact that the end of the fishtail is missing, for example. The worst occasion was when we sat back admiring our empty plates and then realised..... (YES, we found a way around the problem. NO, I'm not going to admit what it was).

There was also a comedy visit where I'd drunk half my Coca Cola but was unwilling to buy another. A malt vinegar and water concoction ensured that a photo of a full branded glass containing liquid of perfectly the right colour was presented to the MSC......
Many years ago there was a Swarovski shop in various jewelry stores. It started as a mystery shop and then was a reveal where you presented a reward if the salesperson recommended a Swarovski item first after you presented your request of needing a gift or something. They paid great and I did a ton of them around Mother's Day. Then, they stopped of course. The rewards were also quite generous gifts to the staff.

Welcome to the forum.

If you need a reminder, you can think of it as having to say your prayers before your meal or something to that effect to help you remember.
I, too, have hidden the chicken wing bones under the wings that were uneaten and poured water into drinks to fill the glass. Those ingenious tricks are what all of us do. There have also been shops that I had to completely redo because we ate everything before remembering that photos were necessary.
Once we ate part of an appetizer before remembering to take photos. I took the pic with what was left, but luckily for me, the next table ordered the same appy. While it was sitting on the waiter's tray next to me, I whipped out my phone and grabbed the photo. It looked exactly like the one I had originally. I couldn't believe my luck!
