The $8.50 Chevron Shops

I see some for $5, but only a few. The bulk have not been released. Still, that is not a good sign.

The $25 and $30 shops are bonused August shops. The one I saw for $5 was new for September. What a bunch of wankers. It was cheap-ish at $8.50; $5 is insulting. You can't find anything in the stores to come in under the $1 reimbursement, which eats into the pay along with any overage beyond 1 gallon on the gas. This'll almost be like working for free.

They are always available in the areas I work.

Interestingly, the are no longer bonused. The fees just keep increasing until they are snagged.

I was about ready to grab a loop of a dozen or so that were up to $20 + the reimbursement, but the day parts didn't fit the map.

Bastards...

What's the difference between bonused and increased fees? Seems the same to me
rosie,

It looks different on the job board, it just shows pay and reimbursement, and it does not show what the original pay was. When they were at $15 they were jumbled up with the Image shops, made for some interesting conversations with my son and a bunch of confusion on my part.
The Sept 1st - 5th $5 shop closest to Podunk is now dated Aug 30th - 31st with a fee of $8.50 and a bonus of $16.50.

Somebody needs to make up their mind.

As stated elsewhere, I will do as many of these as I can grab, regardless of the fee.

I just knocked out 8 yesterday with the fee up to $25, plus another 2 I had pre-booked at the normal $8.50.

Interestingly, remaining shops are now showing a $16.50 bonus instead of the increased fee.

I just don't get people's hangups with the conditional reveal.

Do you do "normal" gas station shops, where you have to reveal regardless?

I see no difference between the two tasks whatsoever.

I just tell the clerk I'm doing a quick merchandising check, ask about the gift cards (or mention them if I've already seen them), ask a filler question about alternative fuel types available, then ask if I can get the photo. Sometimes they might comment about a missing name tag, but I typically get no resistance unless it's someone who would not want their picture taken regardless of the scenario.
