Business is booming at Texas Roadhouse

now, a 5th email that conflicts with the 4th email of the day.....it's a one way trip to crazy town.

I am just curious since you all ponder what is going on have you reached out to ask why some are bonused and why some are not on self assign? I was able to grab one last week in my area that was on self assign. Why not just email and ask?

For me, the scheduler assigned to the ones in my area, can be ... how I do phrase this ... can be difficult, at times. Which is fine, we're all human and have some bad days. Out of various interactions I've had, all have been positive, with exception to one. But that one interaction ... it confirmed every negative post I've read on this forum about this scheduler. So I do tread lightly going forward. And I've also had multiple situations, where she's shown compassion and was human. I'm rambling now, but I'm just apprehensive to contact her, unless I absolutely need to.

I guess maybe I get this but I have never had an issue with my scheduler that does the TXRH
There appears to be two different schedulers for TRH. From what I have gathered here one on the East Coast and one on the West coast. Dont know where either of the territories end but apparently the West Coast scheduler is very easy to work with.

Again just going by what I've read here.

I personally have hearsay issues. I am more on the East Coast and have dealt with 2 different schedulers and both have been pleasant.
That’s good and worth mentioning. Since these shops are somewhat popular, the only thing I would advise to any other shoppers reading this is, if you self-assign, make sure to fully commit to the shop. If you’re not able to do it, depending on your situation, it may or may not be an easy process to get something reversed if it something impulsive happens. I can’t speak to or for other shoppers’ experience on this, but reading about how two three shoppers that I respect, that most likely have a solid track record, and have contributed to this thread mentioned their experiences, I think where there is some smoke, there could be a legitimate fire to avoid.

I guess this reminds me of a post I read earlier this morning. Not exactly the same, but you can find out a lot about a person under tough and adverse circumstances, in how they handle and rectify the situation.

ETA: Three shoppers actually now that I fully recall, not two.

I'm nowhere near perfect but if you'll work with me I'll work with you. The old adage one hand washes the other.
I work in an office with mainly females. About a year ago one of my co workers was just moody. One day she was nice, one day not so nice. This went on for about 9 months. Now we didn't hang out after work or anything but we did work together 5 days a week. When she was no so nice I could tell she seemed off and I am not a confrontational person but one day I did ask her if something was wrong since I wasn't sure which Stacy I was going to get that day. She broke down to tell me she had alot going on at home with her husband and kids and it had just been alot to deal with. She apologized for her behavior and assured me she would do better and not let her personal life affect work life. I gave her grace, extended an olive branch and I learned the life happens and sometimes we all need to give grace in this crazy world. A few months ago she left the job to move to another state and I can say that I am so glad I was brave enough to ask her! With that said those that have issues with anyone in your life just ask them if there is an issue and try to show grace. This world needs more love and grace for sure. Ted talk over! I am off to eat dinner.
Most schedulers and MSCs work that way....i.e. play the long game.....but as we see, not all.

PS/I have to add that I don't think it has anything to do with gender.

Well, I guess I was trying to preface that with my earlier post, about people having their bad days. But I do see where you’re coming from, to not be afraid to contact her going forward. I do agree.

But my other point I was trying to get at, for some shoppers, this could mean no more work. What you alluded to earlier, WE ALL have bad days, shoppers included. I don’t know every situation, but there’s the chance, the severity of the consequences, might not fit the infraction. And is OVERLY EXTREME.

btw, I don’t use caps much. I’m just trying to emphasize … I’m not yelling smiling smiley
It's the 20th and now down to two remaining, so the new $10 bonus must have helped.
October will be even more entertaining, if the rotation rules aren't relaxed lol.

the ones in my area go really fast, if you are curious why not reach out to the scheduler(s) to see what is going on. wouldn't that answer the questions instead of speculating?
I guess you missed my post up the thread where I mentioned it's just interesting to watch...and for that I say, to each their own, why do you care about my comments? lol. You seem to have a special interest of your own on this topic.

Was a great weekend, thanks,
I see for Dine In, we're now up to 4 with a bonus and it's Monday, September 23rd, only a week to go...not sure if the MSC will lose a bonus or what, yes, pure speculation because in all my years of shopping, I don't think I've ever seen this before for TRH.
Unusual is all, not meant to trigger anyone lol.
Y'all have a great week.

My monthly observation at mid-month - 7 shops still open
I am just interested in the comparison across the country.
Kentucky here..one left in KY and not bonused. There is another in Indiana left (not bonused). These two seem hard to fill each month. I have shopped both, but each are over 1 hour drive. The ones in my area FLY off the board. I have to stalk to catch them.

There are really only 2 that I notice in KY that sit on the board. I wonder if we are near each other...
