Another MSC call - re Five Guys

And yes- the call center folk are just doing honest work - I get it. I actually took a 5G a few weeks ago off the call but seems to me MSC is resisting the green button as long as they can. Perhaps they feel shoppers are trained to wait for that so they'd rather call people. maybe make a lower offer than would've been on MAO....then the job disappears and shoppers lower their sights.

Anyhow, tonight they called offering $15 I politely just said 'no thanks'. Well what about 18 - again - I said - no thanks. "Well then I can offer you the max of $22"- I said I appreciate the call but there's a toll I have to deal with, so I'd do it for $26, that I've done this location from 25-30 in the past. She said she's not authorized to do that.

So I told her that maybe instead of paying her to make this call they could just pay me the few extra bucks and getting the shop done and she started giggling with me smiling smiley Who knows maybe I should've taken 22....but I've done it so many times for 25+.

People are doing them for less right now but I find a lot end up dropping them so I usually can get a semi decent one at a close location. i need $20 minimum and if I'm going into the city, $25. If not then screw it. TBH I've done so many over the last few months I'm kinda getting 5 guys sickness. Once a week to make $80-100 extra a month is cool for me.
I got a Rehobeth, DE 5G for $28 and they wouldn’t take that for the Bethany Beach one. I ended up taking $26. Easy peasy since it’s not peak season.
