TikTok Mystery Shopper

The thing that gets me is how she tells her audience if a shop "passed" or "failed"...not our job. And I wonder how the clients feel about all the negative reviews she's giving!

I think this is all a skit on her part. Similar to all the weird "Karen" videos or the do-good videos that pop up and are often just fake and acted-out skits. But I hate her advertising mystery shopping as something really simple, you just go to a restaurant and order food and you get paid. She never mentions the report or shows herself completing the report. I think she has talked about taking pictures once or twice but she is usually filming with her phone so she can't take a photo.
Shes going live at 5pm today to explain her new program where you can pay her $997/year to receive her exclusive list of over 100 mystery shop companies and online support from her for a year! Don't miss out! (she made a tiktok about it)

I just logged into her live and its still going (over 1 1/2 hours so far). She is so full of herself!!! I certainly hope that no one falls for her scam.
She talked about doing shops for Gucci and Louis Vuitton and she is a stylists as well.. where are these shops at on south carolina?
They sound like outlet mall shops.

First rule of scams if you have to pay for free information its a scam.

Somebody should put that in her comnents (or whatever the reply system is with that).
If its a live feed you i dont think you can leave comments. You can make them but she sees them as they pop up.
I made a comment not to pay her for information that is free and she blocked me within seconds.

I would never suggest you do anything untoward -coughs-, but if there’s a way for you to boot her off of I, you’d be doing the members of the mystery shopping community a huge favor.

ETA: Or has she already been tossed off? I didn’t scroll back to check.

Oh man, she is a real trip. Her latest video has her describing how she was attacked at a 7-11.

I just went in and replied to several people who commented that her price seemed inflated. I’m sure she’ll remove my comments and block me. She claims that 800 people have signed up so far for her services. That’s nearly $800,000 in a day! She claims to net $50k year as a mystery shopper. She won’t have any jobs left!!!
I wish I could, but I guess legally she is allowed to have people sign up for her advice sad smiley But I will say that I am pretty sure that none of her 'mystery shops' are actually done for any companies. I can't say for sure because I don't know ,but a lot of schedulers from different companies know each other, so pretty sure it is all bogus. Ugh.

I haven't watched her videos (I don't know a tick from a tock), but from what I read here, I feel like she's 97% full of crap. If she is actually doing shops, it's probably safe to assume the quality of her reports is not good, so eventually, the MSCs will take care of her. As the old saying goes, the wheat separates from the chaff.

I agree the MSCs will remove her. What I saw before she blocked me was her just going random places and saying she was doing a mystery shop.

After reading the newer comments here, I am going to play Devil's Advocate.

First, I think we can (mostly) agree that her shops are bogus. She's not actually doing any shops. Maybe she is - or maybe she just found an open in the market. Think about how many people come to this board asking the same questions over and over again. How many times do we (myself, too), snark off with a comment for them to go find the information themselves. Why do we do that? Because we had to work our butts off to figure it all out for ourselves and we do not want to simply give the information away. Maybe this chick mystery shopped in the past. She knows she can't give out real client information, but she could sell her knowledge on the subject; such as, the best mystery shopping companies. Tips to maximize profits, etc.

Many people turn to mystery shopping with the idea that it is "easy" money. It's the same reason why people resale. You have entire groups of supposedly other resellers on YouTube making tons of money through video likes and affiliate links making videos about reselling. I know for a fact some of them have never sold the first item. They saw an open in the market on informational videos and that is their "reselling" business. And the resellers that are legit, if they were really making 100k, they would hardly have time to make well edited YouTube videos five times per week. Finally, there is a customer base out there that is lazy or they don't want to waste (in their view) time pulling together information. They want to be spoofed. These people are willing to pay for information because they believe they will easily make their money back with little to no effort because of the illusion they've been sold. I used to be a magician (really, the title I prefer is Illusionist). When people watch me perform a trick, the fact that they want to believe what they are seeing is real, makes it much easier to sell to them the idea that it is. Of course, it isn't - not the stuff I do. And so I think it is a similar thing here. Her customers want to believe what she is telling them is true, because they want to make easy money, so they are inclined to buy into the illusion. If she is promising "customer support," as someone posted here, then she best live up to it. Unless someone here pays up, we probably won't ever know one way or the other.

The TikTok shopper is just telling them what they want to hear, and there are plenty of people, even here, who want exactly that.

In conclusion, TikTok girl, keep doing what you do. Make that money. Just don't spend it all at once, because I have a feeling your business isn't going to last long.

(If this posts with a lot of misspelled words, I apologize. I'm having a keyboard issue and it won't stop typing!)
-docks Service's pay for each typo-

Yes, many people out there aren't willing to put the time and effort into figuring this out for themselves. I don't particularly feel sorry for them. I think there's a symbiotic relationship between those folks and Tik Tok girl, and if they want to pay her money, go head on. All I can say is....don't you dare come on this forum and b*itch and moan six months from now when you're out all that money and you haven't earned diddlysquat.

That's going to happen no matter what.

"I did the shop and took the photo but I wrote the shop number on a piece of paper then took a picture XYZ even though the guidelines said don't do that and shop was rejected so MSC ABC is the worst, don't you agree, do you think I should do more shops for them or should I sue them and not to mention i wrote MY report in one long run-on sentence!!!" grinning smiley
I posted the link to this forum in several of the comment sections of her Tiktoks and then she blocked me. I hope at least a few of the kind souls who follow her saw it and took note. I was hoping that she would take note and come on here and mystery shop us! Tiktok girl, are you reading this???

“And they didn’t even appreciate the Snapchat filter I used on my cell phone store selfie!!”

I’ll have a hard time holding in my Nelson Muntz “HA-HA” when we hear from the first one.

Another shopper did stitch one of her videos and tried to out her. Kayla's fans ran and defended her - that shopper was blocked by her of course, but quite a few people did comment on the outing video that that tik tokker was correct, be careful what advice you take from Kayla!

I sent some private messages to some of the people who wanted to pay her. I directed them to MSPA site and told them the info there is FREE. please don't pay her a dime. I didn't direct them here because heck, I found it on my own by doing a little research. Find it yourself!
