TikTok Mystery Shopper

These are good questions for @ksansom

Will this be a group trial, or will we be showing up individually? And does BayShopper have to specifically call you out for fraud, or will her presence in this thread automatically include her?

I have seen BayShopper at a bar during a MS convention and I am NOT footing the bill for her drinking!

I have a layover in Charlotte in a few weeks, so perhaps we could just meet at an airport bar for a shop and worlk this out with a mediator. Or everyone brings proof of their fees + reimbursements for the past year and the highest number wins?

I'm excited to go! I hear they have a lot of mystery shops that are not available anywhere else in the 50 states. Competition will be high!
Will souvenirs be made available? My nieces want to know if I can bring them each back a “My aunt got taken to court in South Carolina and all I got was this stinkin’ shirt” t-shirt.

The shirts are for them, but I’m keeping the Kayla bobblehead for the dashboard of my car.

After I go through the drive-thru, I’ll ask, “Did they pass, Kayla?” She’ll always say yes.

I posted a TikTok asking my followers to give me money towards the travel costs we were advised to start saving up for. I made sure to include some screenshots since drama sells!
Since I was late to the party, I thought it was just me who couldn't figure out who coupon man was...I actually went back to read the screen names for someone with coupon in their names..another waste of my time. Every time I open mystery shop forum now, this is the first thread I have to check. It's hysterical...sure breaks up the monotony of shopping for those huge fees. And if you guys stop in EWR on your way to CLT or SC, I'll meet all y'all..We can make a side trip to Hilton Head for some golf shops or Savannah for some trouble making or Bluffton to visit my sons.

The FTC warns on their website:
"If you have to pay an upfront fee to become a mystery shopper, that’s always a scam. " and
"Don’t pay for a list of mystery shopping jobs. That information is available for free."

It sound like those of you who warned her followers were merely repeating the Federal Trade Commission's advice. Is she also going to sue the Federal government?

Well that is interesting. Below is the correct link to the FTC website that says not to pay for a list. The link above is the site that the FTC directs people to in order to find the free list.

Thanks, Cassiespark. I fixed the link.

I notice there is also a link to report fraud on that page. So, if anyone knows of a Mystery Shop fraud scheme...
Noted!!!

Great work! We all collectively have to do what we need to do since we are all being sued! The law applies to everyone!
