Wawa hoagie bowl

Has anyone performed an assignment and ordered a hoagie bowl? How did you order it, as the guidelines seem conflicting? Tx's in advance!

I would love a bowl, especially a turkey bowl. I haven't ordered since they are way over the reimbursement amount at close to $10 in my area.
I have ordered several. They are NOT salad bowls. They are called "Bowls", not "Hoagie Bowls" (they were renamed a few months ago). They show up on the menu under Bowls. I think that they are generally called signature bowls. My favorite is the Chicken Steak burrito bowl. Here is a link to a list of them on the Wawa website: [www.wawa.com]

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I use the term, "hoagie bowl" because that is what the MSC calls it on the drop down menu when completing a report and also on their project questionaire.
The new options weren't really options, from what I recall. The salad could not be ordered with protein. The other options were over reimbursement. I'll go over for a Gobbler since that's a Philly jawn, but nothing else.

What's with this "Bowl" fad??? Ugh. Every place wants to slop all your food together in a bowl. Gross. The only time, IMO, food
should be in a bowl is when it's something sloshy.

They must have changed the name when they realized that a hoagie is not a hoagie if it's in a bowl.
Yeah, I hear you regarding the "bowl fad." I believe it's for those who don't eat bread. I can understand that for a Wawa hoagie as, IMO, their rolls have never been acceptable to me since they left a well known Italian roll vendor to making them in store. I prefer to make Italian hoagies at home with local Italian baked bread, seasoned oil, provolone cheese, pepper ham or prosciutto, capicola, genoa salami or soppressata salami.

But I may try the Wawa mac and cheese bowl with seasoned beef on top.
I think Chipotle started that trend even though their bowls are carb heavy.

I still can't snag a WaWa shop, but I did have a Gobbler bowl the other day when I was in that area. I love 'em! I get the sweet potato one. Rumor has it that one is going to be built in my town, so I'm going to keep my eye on that....

And bowls are indeed good for those of us who have to watch our carb intake.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!

Birdy, I wish they had bowls as rewards. This month I lucked out and got a hot snack as an option.
