I made an offer of $28. It was posted for $25. My offer was declined. The directions stated that a rebid had to be $3 less than the original offer. Gotta laugh.
It still sucks since you don't get paid for a meal and probably go out of rotation for three weeks.@foodluvr wrote:
Curbside not available pays 1/3 of the fee.

MAO of $25 just rejected for a location that I always get that amount for. Guess I'll have to wait for them to call me over the weekend and offer it to me. So stupid these games we have to play.
@sstsau
I also worry about how much I should push for increased fees...I've heard that this MSC will sometimes unexpectedly "deactivate" shoppers, and I don't want them to use my fee requests as a reason to deactivate me.
I must say though, it's nice you typically get $25 for these shops. Around me, they almost never make it past $12 nowadays.[/quote wrote:
Never understate your worth. While this MSC does seem to deactivate shoppers sometimes at random, don't let that scare you into accepting an offer that you don't think is fair. Like I tell all my schedulers who get upset when I ask for my bonuses and pay raises. I may be pricey, but I'm worth it. Whenever they have a last minute flake shop to fill, or get an out of the way shop that's hours away that nobody wants, they know who to turn to. I may not be cheap, but I get the job done. Using this motto has made me become a much more powerful shopper in regards to getting the fees that I request.

I've had them accepted in the past but I typically had to wait until the weekend. And because it's been rejected, I won'tbe able to submit it again at that price, I will have to do $22 (which I'm not doing). So I will wait for them to call me.@Niner wrote:
Every one of my MAO got rejected at the amount they normally pay. I haven't had a call in at least a year. I did get a Samantha offer at half of my normal fee though.
That's an interesting conclusion, deciding that they are not shopped anymore because you don't see the shops, when the rest of us are talking about shops currently listed.@kalouka wrote:
I dont see any Five Guy Shops posted anymore. I think they stopped being shopped, at least in NJ
Doing this caused me to somehow end up on the do not call list. They finally went back to calling me. And still refused to offer me $25 for a shop, would not go any higher than $22, which is what they are listed at right now on the website. I told the guy that I'll wait for him to call me back.@NinS wrote:
If they don't call you, you can always call them. I do it all the time.

Just cancel it if/when they assign it to you. I never trust their system to show me shops again for a location I've declined.@KathyG wrote:
Yesterday morning I made an offer for a same-day lunch shop. When it got close to the time frame and no response I attempted to cancel my offer. The only way I could figure out is to decline all shops for that location until the next shopping period. Anyone else know a better solution?

Of course, they probably would have rejected the MAO anyway, so you didn't have anything to worry about!@KathyG wrote:
After thinking on this I decided I will contact the Atlanta number and make sure that didn't happen.

Did you do something that might have gotten you blocked? Did you accidentally decline all shops for the client? I never trust their website so I never decline a shop for anything I actually want to do in the future.@kalouka wrote:
Weird, I have been doing the shops for over 5 years. Not a one shows up in my account , even with those zip codes. Not sure why, other shops and retails are there though. No explanation
