Years ago a Jewish friend showed me me how he stayed kosher by looking for the circle k or I believe a circle c on the label of condiments. Can't judge anything else but I've found kosher items seem to be better quality items?
I'm not Jewish? Just wondering if the hot dogs were high quality
Since they are prepared in a kitchen with non-kosher meat, they cannot be considered kosher hot dogs. Thus, the "kosher style" wording. They may well be kosher hot dogs before cooking.@weatherman2111 wrote:

They are all beef hot dogs. At least in this area, they are Hebrew National hot dogs.@wrosie wrote:
Is it an all beef hotdog? Or is it a snouts and hoofs type hotdog?
FWIW I don't think they are. They are "Kosher-style" not actually Kosher.
Is this for in-person shops as well If I do an in-person shop this week, will it show up as available next week as well. The delivery shops never should have taken you out of rotation for in-person shops, but they often did.@wrosie wrote:
I noticed they appear to have dropped the 30 day rotation. I just did a delivery shop and can see all the dine in and the delivery shop for that location 10 days later.

It appears that delivery shops have been pulled. I set the radius to 100 miles and sorted by reimbursement amount, and there were none.
I had posted this as part of an earlier post, but it went to moderation for some reason.
Thanks, but that is literally the only one I see when expanding the range to 200 miies for that zip and my own, which makes me think that something is up.@hbbigdaddy wrote:
If you ever want to know...check zip code 92230. It's one of their toughest to fill (at least in southern california area) because it's not really where anyone lives and they have to hope a shopper will travel to it from either direction.
As of 10:39 PM PST...I see this delivery shop out there.

Yes, I noticed that. Maybe this month's shops really were taken. They did come with a shake .@tigerdave wrote:
Delivery shops were just posted today for my area.

Alert all you Five Guys shoppers who are AARP members. On Friday they are featuring a $10 gift card for $7 on the AARP members. I have never purchased a gift card from them so I do not know if you can get multiples.

Can the AARP Five Guys e-gift cards be printed and used in the store, or are they for online ordering only? Most of my shops are dine-in. It could be several months before another online order shop shows up.
ETA: AARP would only allow one gift card per person. I think the fine print said the deal was available to the first 150 people.
@sandyf wrote:
I have not gotten this particular gift card but have gotten many online gift cards. Gift cards are considered like cash. They generally will send a link in an email to you and you can either print out the bar code with the long list of numbers under it or you can save it on your phone and show it to the vendor when you are there.
Actually another shop I do has a special "gift card" shop to test to see if the cashiers in that fast food type place know how to accept a gift card for payment.
Perhaps Shopper Girly will respond as to how she got 5 in January.

I'll have to give cardcash.com another whirl. I tried to purchase from them in the past (Bath & Body Works), and they immediately turned around and canceled my order because they thought it was fraudulent. Go figure. Thanks for the information.@ShopperGirly wrote:
AARP runs specials on GC with a different one almost every week. There is a limit of 5 discounted GC per member per month. But I have started buying GC from Cardcash.com. I have had good luck with them. Five GUYS GC are not generally discounted very much but the prices depend on the supply ( Let's say many people received them for Christmas Gifts and decided to sell them for 70 cents on the dollar). You can likely purchase them for 10-20% off the face value. I buy GC from this site for all my regular restaurant mystery shops. Sometimes they are e-cards, and sometimes they are physical cards I receive in the mail. I have not had any trouble using them, just occasionally running into cashiers who have to call the manager

The funniest thing is that the In N Out and Panda Express locations in that area get shopped...but the five guys does not.
The lunch shop near me for next week got taken at $9. It had a shake, but still -- come on! This was the location that had both of this week's shops taken early as well.@wrosie wrote:
Something happened near me where all the shops at the two locations reached $18 and the delivery shops were at $10, and then they all disappeared.
The new shops are at $9 and delivery at $5. I can't believe someone swooped in and did all the shops that were outstanding.
Seems like instead of extending the due dates, they just reset.
Just wanted to mention that I was finally able to see my approved expenses for this shop in January, and they paid me the max $17.25 even though the food purchase before the inadvertent tip was less. I'm not sure if they will always pay a tip or did so in this case, since I mentioned in my report that it was unintentional. Of course, I was still $1 over the max, so some of it did come out of my pocket.@MisterBill wrote:
Crap -- I just checked my receipt from today when submitting the shop and discovered that somehow when I was tapping my card to pay it selected a $2.44 tip! I never add one. I doubt they will cover it (I would have been $1 under reimbursement max otherwise) so I will probably have to eat it. Memo to self -- put the card in the terminal and do not attempt to tap to pay in the future.
There is an email envelope next to the help desk at the lower left of the shopper portal screen. You can also create an email directly from your email system by using the following format "helpdesk@MSCname.com" Replace "MSCname" of course.@travelshopper wrote:
1st five guys shop and would like to accept but had some questions for scheduler before accepting..don't see a way to ask on the portal...it shows "help" and "faq"but that doesn't have an email option..can someone share a way to email a scheduler to ask question before accepting?
Yep, there's a (formerly) hard-to-fill location where I used to get some great bonuses. Looks like they've found a patsy to take them at around $15.@MisterBill wrote:
I haven't had a shop in a few weeks because they keep refusing my MAO of $25 and someone ends up taking it before they cal or raise it to that price online. I've been resisting taking less than my usual because I know that once I do that, I won't get the $25 anymore. Anyone else running into this?
