I'm getting mine from my cellphone plan with T-Mobile every Tuesday.

I periodically order a hot dog. No problem at all with the report. It asks if I ordered a burger, and I say no.

Deal codes...We get a freebie or two every week on our T Mobile phones....This week we got a free Shake shack burger with any other purchase and we also got 3 coins for IHOP That is enough I believe to get a short stack.
. It is not always food. The Del Taco one is because I have their app. That is also only because a few weeks ago T Mobile sent us a free taco code so now I have the app and they send deals. Most of the restaurants will offer deals at one time or another if you are signed up for their rewards.

i will only go to SS with some kind of deal

Wendy's is common people food. I can go there without a deal. I still want a deal, but i'm not avoiding the place without a deal.

I agree with HBB. I would and will get a free burger at Shake Shack even if I need to buy something else. A twofer one there is a good deal. Unlike the deal Del Taco offered yesterday I had to laugh at. I know this is a burger thread but....for national salsa day they offered a bogo on the purchase of 100 of those little salsa packets for $17.99.
And for the tip concerned, in California workers at fast food earn now a mandated $20 an hour. That is more than someone getting a job with a BA in English or Philosophy or other non science, not computer degrees will probably earn.

Myst- on the report I filled out today, there was a drop-down of selections (similar to Sonic). There were only burger options.

???? Did they change the report? It's always had pickboxes, not drop-downs.
I hate when my offer is rejected, then the shop stays on the board for days and I can't even make another offer.
sometimes I get Samantha, but also getting several calls now from India asking me to take the shop. I usually figure by the time they get in on it the company will accept my offer, but nope-rejected. (and it's almost up to my offer now on its own)
i do love the 5 guys burgers, and think they are WAY better than McDonalds(who's prices have also gone way up!!) and a lot more topping choices. If I wasn't getting reimbursed it would be hard pressed for me to pay that much. Although if I want a burger, going to a restaurant will cost me $16!
I have one assigned to me for today. I just checked the Guidelines in case something had changed. Nothing has changed. This is a quote from the Guidelines: "Order your sandwich/burger/dog with only your fries OR fountain beverage."

... and this is from the report:
"What type of entrée or sandwich did you order? Mark one only:
___ a. Burger (with bun)
___ b. Burger (lettuce wrap and/or bowl)
___ c. Hot Dog
___ d. Veggie Sandwich
___ e. Grilled Cheese
___ f. BLT"

Also, you said "similar to Sonic", which confused me since this MSC now longer shops Sonic.

It is $40,000 a year, maybe I just live in a high cost area but that doesn't sound like much -- our first year teachers make $56,000 and in this high cost area even that would require living far away (an hour commute during rush hour) or having room mates. I am not sure where you live but our new teachers quickly leave because they can make more elsewhere (but at 5 Guys that starts at $15/hour so that isn't where they are going for more money)

Myst- I stand corrected. I was looking at the next screen after, where it asks for what type of burger was ordered.
Jazzy id , I live in a city where the wage for fast food workers will be $20 on April 1. But my point was not that it is easy to live on $40,000 a year. This is Los Angels after all. However I do know that many college grads cannot find a job in their major paying even that much. To me many who earn under minimum wage or just at minimum wage are not getting any tips at all and yet this group is talked about needing tips. There are other considerations like they usually are not full time and/or no health insurance but this is true of retail workers in all those stores in the mall. They do not get tips, they often work under duress from their bosses and they earn the current regular minimum wage with no tips. Yet, in some states restaurant workers earn $2.16 an hour. (maybe it has risen) I can see it those states the need for tips is crucial.
Well I finally got the delivery fee for the $15 I was waiting for. Guess it paid to wait.
Even in Oklahoma it's over $20 for a lil hamburger, Lil get, and a drink. These prices are crazy and the reimbursement never covers it. Milkshakes are dang near $8 too with only a $6 reimbursement. I finally just gave up cause it makes me mad lol.
Did anyone else who already did the 5 Guys Recertification get a Shopper Certifications message of Clients Requiring Shop Certification, basically saying you have to do it again? I just passed it a few weeks ago. I also sent a Help Request just before posting.

There aren't any shops that appeal to me right now but in the rare event someone flakes and a shop gets bonused, I don't want to miss the opportunity (like I did originally when the Recertification first appeared).
Found the certification I had to pass before accepting a delivery shop had no questions about a delivery shop, just dine in.

Oh, that's funny!
I am doing a location I haven't done in a while.

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
OK, this is weird. Got Samantha emails offering $50 for a somewhat hard to fill location, with dates available from 2/9-2/15. I responded by saying I was available for a lunch shop on the 10th, 12th and 15th , or a dinner shop on the 12th or 15th.

Well, my inbox now shows 3 shops at this location at $50 a pop: 2 lunch ones and 1 dinner, all on different dates within the range I specified. I've emailed Help Desk for clarification. It's got to be an error, right? I mean, rotation requirements and all ...
I noticed they appear to have dropped the 30 day rotation. I just did a delivery shop and can see all the dine in and the delivery shop for that location 10 days later.
Koko - try the delicious hot dog as a change from yet another burger. Also as a bonus, when you buy a hot dog, there are a fewer questions to answer.

They are all beef hot dogs. At least in this area, they are Hebrew National hot dogs.

So basically a 1/4 lb. burger or a 1/4 lb. all beef hotdog? I'll have to try a hotdog next shop.

FWIW I don't think they are. They are "Kosher-style" not actually Kosher.
Perhaps it's regional? Just like Heinz ketchup is made kosher with the little k in a circle, it's easier to make everything kosher than to exclude a part of the population?

Correct: Five Guys sells Kosher-style hot dogs; they are not fit for consumption for those keeping Kosher. Why is this? By definition, Kosher meat is beef or poultry that has been slaughtered according to Jewish law and has been certified as Kosher.
Years ago a Jewish friend showed me me how he stayed kosher by looking for the circle k or I believe a circle c on the label of condiments. Can't judge anything else but I've found kosher items seem to be better quality items?

I'm not Jewish? Just wondering if the hot dogs were high quality
