FIVE GUYS IS BACK!!

@myst4au

I remember seeing the cruchburger on the list. $12.99 seemed like what it was.

i got the original burger and asked for a double adding another $4.

Then the strawberry shake was $6.99

then their CC machine defaulted to a tip. You had to get to another screen to bypass the tip. I'm sure there are some that are too confused and just give the cheapest tip.

i'm NOT tipping for waiting in line, ordering at the counter, and then hand me a bag of food. If I was seated and you came and waited on me...now you get a tip.

Has anyone had to redo their certification? I just had to take the test again. The MSC didn't tell me I'd done anything wrong, but when I logged on, I was prompted to do the recertification.

Yes I did.
I have to recertify periodically. doing the Certification again seems to be based on the passage of time (4 months, maybe?). I just do it.

A LOT more than 4 months for me. I did my first FG in August 2019. This was my first recertification.

Here in the mid-Atlantic, still $17.25 across the board through Feb. 11.
Same for me in NY/CT.

They would have to increase the reimbursement to $25 here in NYC area, just to keep up with this company's price increases. It's already more than $20 after tax for a lil cheeseburger, lil fries, and a fountain drink.
This started about a year ago. I had been with the MSC for like 8 years when suddenly this annual recertification stuff popped up last year. It's easy though, so it's only a few minutes.
Anyone else get a text from the MSC asking you to "recruit" more shoppers for Five Guys?
I love shoppers who flake out. I got a call from the US scheduler on Sunday morning about a lunch shop that I know had been taken because it wasn't on the website on Thursday. She offered $25 to go on Sunday (only day offered) and I said it was too cold out to go for that price. She said OK but called back an hour later offering $30 and said it was extended to Tuesday, so I took it. It had been $22 on the website although I think they raised the leftover shops to $25 later in the morning.

It boggles the mind that the MSC spends that much time and effort haggling over a few dollars -- especially for a time-tested, reliable shopper.

Absolutely. They could get their shops filled earlier in the week with reliable shoppers if they'd just be willing to give us our price. There was one time not too long ago when I got a text from a US scheduler on a Friday offering me my usual price for a shop, and I took it. But I haven't had that happen again.
Free Shake Shack burger with Tmobile Tuesday. You can PM your code to me if you are not going to use yours :-)

I have 2 codes now (wifey and me). I need 2 more to feed the kids

It's free with additional purchase (which you might be getting, anyway). Last week's Wendy's offer was totally free.

Wendy's isn't worth asking for a code :-P

i will only go to SS with some kind of deal

Wendy's is common people food. I can go there without a deal. I still want a deal, but i'm not avoiding the place without a deal.

I agree with HBB. I would and will get a free burger at Shake Shack even if I need to buy something else. A twofer one there is a good deal. Unlike the deal Del Taco offered yesterday I had to laugh at. I know this is a burger thread but....for national salsa day they offered a bogo on the purchase of 100 of those little salsa packets for $17.99.
And for the tip concerned, in California workers at fast food earn now a mandated $20 an hour. That is more than someone getting a job with a BA in English or Philosophy or other non science, not computer degrees will probably earn.

The spicy chicken sandwich was good, especially for what I paid. And they're nearby. SS is over a half hour away. I wish their offer was good for a chicken sandwich.
This is epic. I love it. The above is pure gold. (talking about bigdaddy cornering the market on promo codes.)

Nah...just looked for some extra ones for SS. I wasn't asking for others in here. I think the other good one was the free Jersey Mike's a month or 2 ago. I had a friend who gave me theirs, so I didn't ask on here.
Here's a 5 Guys question.
They have one marked 1/24 only. $35 plus 17.25
I cant do tomorrow.
If nobody grabs it, do they usually carry the offer over to the next day?

If you are available on the 24th, grab it quickly. [Apparently, you are not available on the 24th.]

If you are only available on the 25th, then hope that no one else sees it and is available on the 24th.

My experience is yes, and it gets a very long date range, like a week. Good luck on it still being available.

The JM offer was amazing, because like their birthday free sub, it just gets deposited into your account and can be used at any time.
Just looked to see if the delivery shop for a location had reached $15 (it was at $12 yesterday) and there were only 7 total shops available today including 2 tax shops. Yesterday there had been about 37 if I recall correctly.

The delivery shop for January they had kept pushing out the due date on instead of raising the shop pay, the one I was tracking was gone. So were the two February $5 delivery shops (2 locations), along with all the dine in shops for February.

Anyone else noticing this?

Good news the 4 remaining dine in January shops are now at $17 with MAO and are even on the HOME PAGE!
Not a big deal as I always order a burger, but I was under the impression one could order a hot dog or a grilled cheese or veggie sandwich. I don't see any options besides burgers on the report.

Where are you guys getting all these deal codes? Asking for a friend. (Not really, I'm dumb!)
