FIVE GUYS IS BACK!!

When I worked in the city, a location opened at 7am and served breakfast items. I wondered the same thing.

Has anyone ordered the BREAKFAST items? They're available "all day" at a location. I wonder if that would lead to an excluded report. I don't remember seeing that option on the report. They did not say you couldn't, but they're pretty clear they'd most like you to get a burger, and probably least like you to get something like that.

Was near an In-N-Out at one of my Five Guys shops just now.

Ordered a grilled cheese to stay within reimbursement. After, I walked over to In-N-Out and ordered 2 Pattie’s by itself for $2. Added some sauce and damn, it was a stupid good remix of the Double Double!

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
I forgot to do my shop report on Sunday. A scheduler called me and asked if I could shop the location. I said I did it on Sunday and she told me it was never submitted. She offered to open it if I could complete it in two hours. Done!

I saw a dine in for March with a reimbursement amount over $20. Excitedly I checked it out thinking they had finally raised the reimbursement.

Nope, it included a milkshake. Damn!
another 5 Guys is going to open in my area at the end of winter...

I took a Sonc shop recently for their new company and was disappointed to find that no chicken sandwiches were not on the approved entrée list. Ended up not doing the shop.
I don't think chicken has ever been an option.

Some of these have finally gone up but they are the ones that are about 20 or more miles from me. Nobody seems to be doing them in that area. I have a few days off in 2 weeks so if they go up again, I think I will make myself a plan to head out that way, visit my cousin, and do some other shops. It's not terribly far but needs to be a good price. Right now they are at $18. I see some of you ask for more. Do you think I could get 30 for some of these? There are 4 of them just sitting there.
Once they go to MAO, you could try for $30 if it's the last day they are due. I have gotten $30 for some rural locations that they have trouble filling. I get $25 regularly for one that is in a congested area. Be aware that once you do one for a lower fee, they hold it against you and point out that last time you did it for $X,

I had a scheduler call today and offer a location I have received multiple Samantha emails for (so I know they're having a hard time filling the job). She asked if I could do it this weekend for $18. My schedule doesn't allow me to do that, and I told her so. All of a sudden the fee was $22! I said that if they matched the $25 I got back in October I would find the time to eat a sandwich and fries. She would not budge.

The US scheduler got me $35 for a regular location. The overseas schedulers won't meet that fee.

So blow my mind. I didn't answer their first call to me today figuring they'd leave the normal lowball offer on my voicemail.

I just got a second call from an overseas scheduler offering $10 for a location, same as on the job board. I tell her last time I got $33. She counters with last time you got $10. I told her that was a delivery shop.

She comes back with can you do it tomorrow lunch, dine in for $30. I took it.

WOW, no $12, no $18, no let me put that in and ask if they'll approve it. I haven't gotten the e-mail yet but it's in my jobs to do.

I got a Samantha email Saturday to do one for $67. It was for a shop I've done several times while traveling 210 miles away. I didn't take it, but highest Samantha offer I've ever received for anything.

There have been some very wacky offers of late. Not objecting to more money, but it is very odd.
Got a phone call offering $30 for a location where the Samantha email was $50 but I said no at any rate. It’s Valentine’s Day so sadly no mystery work -unless y’all can stop grabbing all the Ruth’s

I got a Sam offer of $40 but it was for a late shop.

I was surprised to get $10 over my normal fee at a shopper dense location.

The schedulers didn't call me for shops this weekend. Hopefully, someone will flake.

Does anyone know why the 5 Guys shops this weekend are for any time as opposed to lunch, dinner, or late-night? I know they usually do that for holiday weekends such as around Thanksgiving, but I'm not aware of anything currently unless you count the beginning of Lent.

They sometimes do that for the last week of the month.

Actually it's because it was a holiday week.
I had no shops this weekend, 5G or otherwise.

My hot dog, little fries, and regular soda cost $17.06. if I had gotten a burger it would have cost more than $20! And the reimbursement is stuck at $15.45.

If you say so, but the holiday was the previous weekend.

Not saying they always make sense. The also seemed to have suspended shops entirely last weekend. No idea why.
I don't know how they can sustain these insane prices.
