I thought that it was a three-week rotation.@wrosie wrote:
I've been debating for a while if I would be better off doing two shops at $21 or wait and do one shop for $30 in a two week period.
I think there is a one week rotation isn't there?

I say follow the money and toss the shake.
@MisterBill wrote:
That's very sad. You should just let someone else take the shake shops and pick another one for that location.@Tanischri87 wrote:
I’m overweight and dump the shakes when we have to order them. They look great though.

I usually take my shakes home for someone to enjoy. I also order them after I eat my meal. It doesn't make sense to me to order a meal, a drink and a shake at the same time. The shake would be more of a dessert to me and the company has not given me any problems with submitting 2 receipts on my scan.
Great to hear that they haven't given you problems submitting two receipts, I've often wondered what would happen if I forgot to order it!@HonnyBrown wrote:
I've ordered a shake separately, but it was when I forgot to order it with my meal. I just took a picture of both receipts together.

If you have an American Express card, the following offer just showed up for Five Guys:
Spend $15 or more, get $3 back. Up to 2 times (total of $6).
Just need to make sure that we spend $15, which won't be a problem for most.
I normally buy a veggie sandwich instead of burger. I may need to get the big fries to get over $15.@hbbigdaddy wrote:
Thanks for the tip.
I don't know how you get out spending less than $15 at this place. Love their burger, but not their prices. I refuse to eat there with my own $. If they ever stop shopping the place, I will never eat there again. I can get same meal at In N Out for $10. 5 guys is not 50% or even higher. I think I spent like $17 on a big patty cheeseburger combo the last time. So that's like 70% higher.

After I do a specific location, I do not see shops for that spot for three weeks. Are you saying that you can do the same location every week?@Morledzep wrote:
I am not aware of any rotation for 5 guys. The only rule I know of is that you can't do 2 shops at the same location on the same day. And you can't do 2 shops, even at different locations, during the same meal period.
That's at different locations. That's bizarre that they would offer you the same location you're scheduled for. Is it for the same week, or do you take them weeks in advance at regular price? After you have a shop at one location, future shops disappear from the website for three weeks, at least for me.@Morledzep wrote:
MSC has called me to offer me jobs at 5 guys at the same location that I am already scheduled to do. I rechecked the guidelines, all I see is only one before 4 pm and one after 4 pm.

You'll want to edit your post as the client is already listed and you can't mention the MSC in the same thread. That's a violation of your ICA.
It doesn't have to say it because the website won't let you take two shops at the same location in the same day, never mind the same week! The guidelines are talking about shops at different locations.@Morledzep wrote:
It doesn't say that. It's probably against the rules to exactly quote the guideles. So I'll only do 2 sentences.

Week after week I say that I am not going to accept the shops offered by the schedulers. An hour after I schedule the shops, Samantha emails me with a better offer.
Today I kept my eye on the job board ($20 for the shops I wanted) and my email. The scheduler called and offered $18. I told him the job board was $20 and I asked for $25.
I got 3 shops for this weekend!
I just got $30 from a phone scheduler. She was offering $20, and I asked her what I had gotten for that location last time. She told me $30, so I said I'd do it for that price, but not less. She submitted it and it was approved.@HonnyBrown wrote:
I am not going to use the schedulers anymore. I am getting offers frome Samantha that are higher than my pre-Covid fees.

FG changed their app recently. I tried adding a new credit card when placing an order (to use the AMEX offer) and the app crashed. Fortunately, I was able to pay via Google Pay to use the card. You cannot just add a payment method on the app or website unless you do so while placing an order. Also, the app now notices when you are near the restaurant and notifies them that you have arrived (there is a button in the app that you're supposed to push when you get there). I got there a few minutes early for an online pickup shop today, so I went next door to Staples until my order was supposed to be ready. But the app had already notified the restaurant that I was there, so they were ready to put the fries in the bag as soon as I walked in the door and told them that I was there. I may have to turn off location permissions for the FG app to prevent this in the future.
Yes, the cards were transferred over, but you can't add a new one. There's already a negative review in the Google Play store from someone else who has the same problem. Odd that you can no longer order the burger bunless.@HonnyBrown wrote:
Two of my three shops over the weekend were online. I noticed the new app. My cards transferred and so did my previous orders. One difference I noticed was the fact that going bunless is no longer an option. Also, some of my locations were janky. My Sunday location showed as being closed (before hours) and I could not look at the menu prices. I could only open that location from my history of online orders.
