Got a call just now from a new number for the scheduler. This guy was very chatty while still wanting to keep it a secret who the Client was. I told him just get to the point.
He was offering $25 and I said I needed $27. He placed me on hold to check. When he came back, he was then able to tell me every price I had done this location for in the past. He wanted me to justify the fee I was requesting.
I just told him I could do it for $27 tonight or to stop wasting my time.

It seems that I can't see guidines for the online shops without accepting it. I would think this shop would be easier and have less awkward situations. What do you guys think.

Yes, they're definitely easier, since you order and pay online. You're not required to eat at the restaurant, but you do still need to check the restroom. Only awkward thing is asking for a receipt.
Print to paper or save to PDF? I just "print" to a PDF file and attach that. The phone shops were awkward, having to ask for a receipt. Fortunately they don't seem to do those anymore.@Maryanne J wrote:

I've had software problems with my desktop computer years ago that forced me to print out an invoice and then scan it to a PDF file so that I could send it to somebody. But you shouldn't have to print out an email to attach it to to shop the shop unless you are mailing in the survey on paper.
On either the tablet or my phone I do a screen shot of the emailed receipt, then attach that picture to the survey. On the desktop I copy and paste the email to a word file, then convert it to a PDF.

You can just install the free PDFCreator program, it creates a virtual printer and when you print it it, it prompts you to save to a file. Much easier than cut and paste. And the MS company does an excellent job of taking PDF files when you upload them, even multiple pages.@Morledzep wrote:

Seriously? There is a program built into Windows 10 called Snip & Sketch. You can either start it, or just hold down the Windows key + Shift + S, and it will open automatically. Then you select the portion of the screen that you want to save. Then you save the file or else you can past it somewhere. But for an emailed receipt, PDFCreator is much easier.@Morledzep wrote:
Yes, but in Win10 it's not as simple as it once was. And the instructions would require too much typing.@weatherman2111 wrote:

Update on this. Despite a second attempt, I could not get DoorDash to respond to my complaint on Twitter. I tagged FG on my second tweet, and they reached out to me and asked for more details, but I have not responded and am not inclined to given that it was their shop. I figured DD would have been OK to file a complaint with.@MisterBill wrote:
It appears that doing a delivery shop is taking you out of rotation for in-person shops again. They had fixed that, but I'm not seeing the in-person shops for that delivery-shop-from-hell location that I did the other day, and there were plenty available.
Still have not heard back from DD (I contacted them via Twitter since the link they sent wasn't working). The MSC did approve my shop pretty quickly, especially considering it's the weekend. Here's hoping the manager gets "retrained" based on my report.
They get bonused to $10, but not more than that. The problem with the delivery shop is that they have not increased the reimbursement either of the last two times the regular shops went up. so now you have food reimbursement BELOW the walk-in shops, even though delivery prices are almost always higher.@canadianghetto wrote:
I prefer the delivery shop for the one in my area because it never gets bonused anyway and the report is way simpler. The delivery shops take me out of rotation for the month for sure. Seems wild to pay $35 to get a burger, fries and drink delivered but hey its not my money!
I never got a call for last weekend's shops, probably because I had told the scheduler that I wasn't really interested in a dinner shop at the location she was calling about. I'd actually gotten a $26 Samantha offer for that dinner shop, but it's out of the way to go to that late, so I decided to hold out for this week's any time shop. They turned on MAO this morning and I got my usual $25. Will go for lunch on Monday.@HonnyBrown wrote:
I missed the scheduler calls this week so I had to rely on Samantha for this weekend's shops. With the schedulers, I would get $18. Samantha offered $19 for one location and $26 for the other.
I'm sure that other shoppers have been there since you reported the soda machine issue. And it's not really clear that they care much about problems we find, especially transient ones like that. I had a location where the same three lights were not working across multiple visits.@wrosie wrote:
I just can't figure out why their shop pricing is all over the place. However, last time I went at the $27 price, both of their soda machines were out of order. Perhaps this is a recheck to see if they got fixed?

The June delivery shops got bumped to $10 today, and the one in my area got snapped up. I wasn't expecting that until a few days into the month.
Thanks for the heads up - this does seem to be a bit early for them to increase the fees.

I had a shop yesterday. The cashier was relentless about my getting a milkshake. I had to get a manager to ring up my order.
