Notice how the guy who steals the potatoes speaks as if he had every right to take them! I'm glad the manager was buff enough to take the potatoes from him without pulling a muscle...
5G is traditionally shopped from Thurs-Sun, but I have found they are getting more flexible on that, I think due to Covid they are taking the approach of adding more days to shopping but also standing a little more firm on fees darn it. Definitely don't take a shop at $9. In my area the available shops generally bump up to $12 by Wednesday and $18 with MAO by Friday.@non sequitur wrote:
What’s the best day and time to check for near term shops at 5g? I find Thursday for Sat-Sun, but appreciate help. Tired of $9 listings.

yep, they confirmed they removed them from me but didnt say I did anything wrong. They basically avoided the question so I told them its no wonder why people dont like working for you and I was dissappointed with them. We shall see how long I am in "timeout" for...hahahaha what a bunch of piss ants!!!
They keep calling me and offering $15 for a location I only took recently because I was going to submit a curbside shop as closed. I keep telling them I won't do it for less than $25, and probably not even that since I am rarely in that area. I do see that this week's shops are up to $18 with MAO. Not interested in this weekend's at one of my local FG since some clown took the lunch shop for $12 (or less) and the dinner times are inconvenient. Next week's dinner shop at this location is an online order with a shake, so much more attractive to me since I can get there at 4:30, pick up food and go home.@HonnyBrown wrote:
I got a call from a scheduler for shops for this weekend. When he told me the fee, I told him they were the same on the website. I asked if he could do better. He told me that they were stingy with the fee bonuses now.
I got a $25 Samantha offer for a late night shop at a location that I do, which is 30-40 minutes from me, so I'm not taking it (I don't even do late night shops at my local FG). It's currently on the board for $20.@Mert wrote:
The weekend shops at the locations nearest me have all been taken, with one exception. They did not get bonused on the board, nor were there MAOs. The one remaining location is listed at $18 with MAO, and it's a late dinner closing.

Now I have plenty of other sources of income, so others are welcome to do these shops for $18-$22.

$17.60 yesterday for a little cheeseburger, little fries, and the smallest drink. They should negotiate a contract that covers the full cost reimbursement instead of a set fee.
