Asking for more money on a shop

Hello, new here and to MS. Ive done only about 30 jobs the last 2 months. One of the shops Ive done the pay was low for the time spent. Mostly because I had to wait to be helped. I notice a new shop is available but the pay is the same. Has anyone ever reached out to the scheduler and said you would do the assignment but for more money?

Yes. I do that frequently. That's how to negotiate a bonus. But, it depends on the MSC and how hard it is to fill the shops, how close it is to deadline, etc. There are some MSCs who give bonuses without much effort on my part. Other MSCs it's like pulling teeth.
With a scheduler I don't know well yet, I usually respond to an email advertising the shop indicating that I would be willing to do the shop for $X 'because . . .'. This is where I put in the reason why this location should be paying more than it is to be acceptable to me--distance, time on site from experience, orphan shop, etc. I don't beat it to death before thanking them for their consideration. Sometimes they bite, often they don't.
