Well, I guess that makes us even then. For the record, I find your post quite insulting. Happy Shopping in 2019 to you regardless. Squireparty@MikiNV wrote:
PO, delete your original post. All this is ridiculous and insulting.

I merely ask seemingly endless questions.
And here is another reason I wish to be deleted here and discontinue participation in this online community. I can at least Thank You for making my reasons crystal clear to one and all. Without attacking you, please read my posts, please go back and read and you will find the following. For starters, I said to Lori at KSS in a post that I would not be protesting the University nor hatching plots - please go back and read - I said I was not that petty and that I have a life. I also stated repeatedly that I was not after money and Lori voluntarily stated in one of her posts that she understands that this is not about money for me. It never was and I{don't want the $13 after this. I have been told I will be paid regardless and the money is going to a food bank as I want it going to a third party place where it will do some good after what I dealt with. About the media exposure - it is true that I would progressed to this had I been blown off, which I was not, but it would have been local in nature....but I would have went everywhere possible locally, this much is true. I'm happy to report that such was not necessary. So there has been no media component involved nor will there be. About the Holocaust - once again, this was brought into the picture only as a way of making it clear how strong and how serious I am/was. It was not meant as disrespect to the millions who lost their lives, which could have included since passed on relatives of mine who managed to hide in Austria on fake paperwork. Fascinating people they were too that I am honored to be related to, as I said, unfortunately at this late date they have all passed on.@msimon-2000 wrote:
If you have such an aversion to "American Police Brutality" why would you ever put yourself in a position to have to interact with such an authority figure while conducting this $13 shop? I would think that given your sensitivities to the police, you would screen and avoid any situation, including shopping, that put you into direct contact with the police?!
Also, your passive-aggressive use of escalation tactics such as; national media expose, multi-million dollar lawsuits, picketing and protesting the university with a group of activists, hatching plots against the university, comparing anyone's behavior in any way to the Holocaust, calling basically anyone who would listen (i.e. Chief of Security, Dean of college, MSC president, Schedulers, claiming a near false-arrest when there was NO indication that this was even possible, and even the court of public opinion -- this forum) was completely over-the-top. Saying you're NOT going to do these things is a passive-aggressive way of introducing them to the conversation none-the-less. Even if you were mistreated in some way like an invasion of your personal space and use of a loud voice, the escalation on your part would seem to be overly dramatic given the circumstances.
If you're going to air your situation in the forum (which like it or not is the court of public opinion) you have to have a thick enough skin to accept opinions that differ from your own.
My advice is own your mistake in this matter, realize that not having your LOA set these events in motion, avoid encounters with authority figures in the future, and don't be so quick to make mountains out of molehills.
P.S. Even though I do not agree with most of your opinions regarding this event, I still respect your opinions and would not want to see you leave the forum just because some of us do not agree with you. Thicken up your skin a bit...

Simple solution? Find a moderator to delete me. This would be quick and painless and would cost nothing that I am aware of. Ban me, block me, delete, do what you can to make me disappear and peace and serenity can return to this board until someone else falls short of PC posting criteria. And no snark, drama, hard feelings, whatever - I truly don't fit in well here - is it not best for all parties to delete me? Seriously, how much more adult can I be here? Squireparty
I'll give you this - your are not entirely wrong in what you have posted. The reason I wish a moderator to intervene and make it permanent is one simple word - Closure. That's all I'm seeking here, closure. I'll say it one more, time, I don't fit in here very well - at least with some of the more vocal posters - and I accept this. I bash no one nor do I seek any changes here - I seek closure. And maybe it would in an offhand and perhaps for some this is difficult to understand but at this this point being blocked/banned/deleted would be a gesture of respect. Please, if anyone on the board has these powers, or can email someone that does, please do so. No drama, no snark, no name calling - just please do so if someone would. Thank You. Simple solution? Just stop logging in. If you don'.t want to be here, don't be here. You don't need a moderator to block you from logging in. What - you're just going to keep logging in to argue and continue to request that a moderator delete you until you find yourself blocked from logging in? You can just make a decision yourself and stick to it.
[/quote]Though we obviously don't see eye to eye, if by "reporting" me you mean you reached out to someone to banish me (or whatever word you care to use) from this online community, you are helping me to achieve closure so ironically enough, I do Thank You for this much. Best to you going forward regardless of the friction between us here. Squireparty@MikiNV wrote:
Dude, just be gone. You are wasting everyone's time and begging for attention that turned out to be negative. You got MSC involved, scheduler, etc. You are taking time from the scheduler and MSC that can be given to other, more deserving, shoppers. You are selfish and childish and trying to make a point after failing to do a good job. I reported you.
Squireparty: (added for clarification)
Having said all that, I once again ask to have my account deleted. My take is that this online community has some aspects of high school to it - now calm down, everyone!!!!! I will name no names and no, not everyone here behaves as if they belong in high school. A few do that are quite vocal if you don't play by their PC posting rules, which obviously I don't.

As I see it, you are also not entirely wrong and you do have a point here, granted and given right now. I just want permanent closure is all - hence wishing for a block/ban/deletion/however such works here. Squireparty@nslinhar wrote:

Eric in Tampa - Thank You for your kind words. I really appreciate them. Best wishes to you and many juicy bonuses in 2019 to you! Squireparty@Eric in Tampa wrote:
@squireparty Thank you for sharing this. I say keep shopping, yet perhaps with different clients. The fact that Lorri Kern (of all people) stood up for you says A LOT.
Hope to see you back out there. Thank you for standing up for something that you felt was the right thing to do.
Thank You for taking action. I do appreciate this. Best wishes to you. Squireparty@MFJohnston wrote:

It was an interesting story at first, but this is going on too long. I have used the report feature and "reported" all this to the moderators. They have the power to delete your account, if you so desire.

Thank You for passing along the above instructions and I mean this one hundred percent sincerely. I will attend to contacting the moderators myself in a but a few minutes. Best wishes to you out there mystery shopping - and the same to all here, even those who took issue with my posts. I wish to leave "cleanly" and the above instructions allow for such. I'm out too. I have followed the above instructions kindly passed along to me and have contacted whoever moderates here this way. With any luck I will soon be given the closing gesture I seek and will be gone. Adios. Squireparty@nslinhar wrote:

For the sake of the next person who finds themselves persona non grata in this online community, I will state this one last time. There was no escalation on my part. Before I left quickly and in a great deal of fear, I did attempt to show the Campus Security Officer in question my smartphone, open to where the email assigning me this shop was. This one bit really did seem to set them off - they were already overly aggressive and threatening and once they ratched it up further, I bolted. What I can recommend for anyone who is willing to listen and have an open mind - perhaps shops with a security component of any kind are best avoided. Should I continue mystery shopping (which I personally am up in the air about for what it's worth, and I understand that no one asked) I will not be taking shops with a security component and/or a university setting going forward. This is the one positive takeaway I have to offer those here who are willing to listen. Whether or not you pay any mind to this advice is entirely up to you, of course. Squireparty@Msaddict wrote:
I am wondering if you went on and on like this with the security person. Did you continue to pressure and pressure and try to get your point across again and again, seeking closure with the security person? If so, maybe you just pushed them over the edge with your own attitude.
One sentence will summarize for you. I'm a poor fit for this online community, I've accepted such, and with the tech help I've received above I've sent a PM to JacobJ to be deactivated - problem solved. Squireparty@Hoju wrote:
