I LOVE mystery shopping! I compare it to Christmas, but it could just as easily be Forrest Gump: Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
I live in a rural area. Most shops are at least a half hour away. At the start of every month, I wonder "WIll I make my minimum?" And every month, thanks in large part to this forum, I have more than exceeded my goals.
I've already made double my needs this month, but then I got an email from an MSC offering me a $10 phone shop. I'd never done this one before. It was fun, I learned something new, and best of all I was home to take a call from Harland Clarke inviting me to become a shopper for them (you folks highly recommended them so I'd sent an email saying I was interested). They have $40 shops in my area. Bam! Like Christmas I tell you!
Then today I got my email from Mystery Shopper Magazine (thank you Jacob) with an article on the EasyShift app. I checked it out, set up an account and ... nothing showed on the map.

Then I hit "Refresh Map." BINGO! Green dots all over the map. I reserved a shift for tomorrow, where I'm already going to be and it solves the question of what to do between the two shops I'm doing for MF.! And it pays $7-14 for an estimated 36-minute shop. No report. If accepted (get those photos right!) I'll have my $$ in 48 hours. Christmas I tell you! It's like Christmas!
