Hello - If I may ask, are you a experienced mystery shopper ?

I think that 7star is asking because most hotel shops are pretty narrative intense and require many interactions with hotel staff, some of which may be a bit daunting for less experienced MSers. So, many MS companies (MSCs) will require that shoppers prove themselves first by doing less complex shops. After all, the risk if a hotel shop is rejected is quite a lot of money to the shopper, who would be responsible for the entire hotel bill.

I just received an invitation or notice that a Hotel shop was available, of course, I was not the only one invited, and it was gone before I applied.
Now I have been with this MS for close to 2 years and Feel that receiving this invite for this Hotel job was because I have proven to submit complete and thorough reports promptly.
They usually require photos, and intensive narratives to meet the client's request.
These are much more than a gas station or bank shop, but these are the foundation shops to the more exclusive Hotel and 5-Star Resorts. I see the Cruise Liner shops but they always seem to be scheduled before I get to them. Have to learn to be quicker.

Okay, Kanus, but as a previous editor, I can assure you that MSCs do not like it when shoppers capitalize common words such as hotel, feel, resort, etc. If you do that in your reports, you are likely going to get points taken off your score for that.

Katia, I think ACL offers hotel shops from time to time, but I am not sure if they will allow you to do any of those until you have completed other types of shops and proven yourself to them, as wales pointed out in her post.

I've actually began getting hotel shop offers from ACL. I haven't taken one, but the offers have started. Woohoo. I guess?
