Check the shop time window. The higher fee is "must enter 15 minutes before closing." Reimbursement is the same. There is an added reimbursement should the shop require the purchase of a milkshake.@DareWright wrote:
Here's my question: I logged onto the msc's website and I see several Five Guys shops. Some reimburse $8 and some reimburse only $6. Anyone have any idea why?

Alycja, no need to throw a tantrum just because you don't get your way. You come into the forum and blatantly ask people to break forum rules and ask for them to violate ICAs and then YOU get offended. (inappropriate antagonistic comment removed)

Did one today and my total was a lot more than normal. I was thinking "Crap the prices have gone up, MSC really needs to up the reimbursement."
It wasn't until I sat down and was observing the kitchen when I realized I forgot to say "little" That kinda makes a difference.
Also made me realize I probably need to be a bit more focused the rest of the shop.
On a side note, I finished that meal 10 hours ago and am still not hungry again.

Try the veggie w cheese- the mushrooms have a meaty flavor! Same with grilled cheese- add mushrooms and grilled onions. Makes a tasty sandwich..... and the price is right.

I also noticed an increase last year. I am doing one, before closing on the 29th. Reimbursement is $12, no bonus. Base pay here in Vegas is $13. I happen to like the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon.
with small drink and small fries, some of my husband's same sandwich is covered.
1x Grilled Cheese Sandwich $4.44

Tomatoes, Regular, Add Bacon ($.50 for bacon)
1x Regular Drink $2.39

1x Regular Drink $2.39 (free refills)

SUB TOTAL
$9.22
Tax
$0.75
TOTAL
$9.97
When I add my husband's grilled cheese w/ tomato and bacon, It comes to $14.41 (plus tax on his sandwich)...so for about $2.50 or so, we both eat...and eat peanuts while we wait. An, they will give you bags to take peanuts home, if so inclined.
I used to do a nearby location at least once a month. It got to the point that when I walked in one of the employees would run into the restroom (presumably to check it) and then would wipe the doors and move on to wipe the counters. This inoculated them from any cleaning issue "deductions" as cleaning was being done while I was there. Now I shop the location about every three months and most of the staff has changed. I have heard that managers get bonuses based on good evals so the crew is trained to look for shoppers and check the tapes if they think one is in the store. It is amusing to watch the crew scurry. One time, when it was really crowded, my order came up way ahead of others. The person calling my number prefaced it with, "Jump The Line! No. 42." That's when I decided the restaurant needed more shopper rotation. I cut back to 3-4 a year. When I eat there on my own dime I don't have to get the required fries and that's a good thing, too.@claabe wrote:
yes, both locations. I do them each twice a month !
