Hotel Help ASAP

ok new to shopping and did my first hotel last night. As I'm filling things in I realized I've made a crucial error. It says I nereded to get ther managers business card and i didn't. Would it be weird if I called and asked them to email that because maybe I wanted to write a personal thasnk you? Thoughts??? Help! I'm freaking out over here sad smiley

Yes, it would be weird, and they'd probably not do it. They'd probably give you the manager's email instead.

If it is close to where you are, I'd go back... The manager will likely not be in, so just ask for the card and say you will be calling on Monday. Don't give a reason.

Rule #1 for Mystery Shoppers: Do not freak out.

BBird gave you really good advice and, even if the location is not close, I would do exactly that. I would also have a back-up story, just in case the manager is there.

I would not call and ask for the business card. I also would return to the location and if he's not there ask for his business card but have a reason why in your mind in case you're asked. You could say something like he was just so great to deal with you wanted to make sure you dealt with him again or whatever. If he is there I would just smile and say that you when you were driving away last time you thought "I really should get his business card so I can make sure I ask for him next time!"

Make it clear you want the General Manager's card, wakingup. Hotels always have someone on duty in a managerial capacity. Read your guidelines again. Do they want the General Manager's card or the MOD's?

I am doing a hotel shop. I have a nasty cold, and while checking in, I had a coughing fit. The front desk clerk quickly handed me a water bottle. This is not the usual practice at this chain. I want to give him credit but also remain anonymous. I was thinking of saying I saw him do it with another customer. Any thoughts?
