Idea for New Forum Section: Kudos, Compliments, & Shout Outs

This could be a forum section exclusively for posting positive things about companies, schedulers, etc. Schedulers could also thank (anonymously) shoppers.

Forum members would be encouraged to post positive reviews of companies, shout outs to favorite schedulers, or even 'thank yous' to other members of the forum.

Thoughts? Would you use this?

What happened to the new job board? And how about the idea that was mentioned a while ago about having a separate section for video shopping?

@kimmiemae – I'm working on the new job board. The holidays threw me off course with that one, but I'm getting back to it. It's a bit more complicated, because of the multiple sections. But, it'll be launched soon.

It's great the new section is going strong. I just wonder if it wouldn't be better for new threads to be started for each company or scheduler? Seems like it would stand out more than adding on to a thread about an unrelated company.

Well, we made it almost 48 hours before someone went negative. SMH. A complaint about Intellishop on a kudos thread for Holly at About Face. I'm not sure of the connection, but what do I know.

I saw, and I agree. I used the report function to report it to the mod. I'm hopeful that the comment will be moderated and/or removed. If we allow negative comments in a kudos thread, do we defeat the purpose?

In addition, so many posters are posting unrelated kudos in threads specifically titled for one MSC that it is becoming jumbled. It would be nice to group all schedulers in a particular MSC on one thread, but why add comments for a scheduler in a completely different MSC? Why not start a new thread and let a great MSC or scheduler have his own thread? JMHO.

It's cumbersome and chaotic. As such, I may occasionally speed read the thread subjects, but that's about it.
