Those look like a nightmare. If I was going to take one, I'd either stop by first or call the store and see if they have the display on the floor or in the stockroom. If they don't have anything for you to assemble, you'll only get that small opening amount of $10-15.

Never ever ever do these as part of a route. I mean never.

I received an offer to do one for I think $60 + $15. $60 was if I needed to build the display. The store is an hour away (and I had other things going on) so if I didn't have to build a display, I'd only make $15 and that's not really worth it for me. I can go do a gas station shop 10 mins away for the same amount of money and likely way less work.
I have one coming up, and I am very nervous. I build displays all the time, but these instructions have me shaking in my boots. They look very vague and hard to understand. Once I see the display, I hope it's a lot easier to understand.

Maybe one of the questions when you apply shouldn't be "Do you need a lanyard" but rather, "Do you have experience building IKEA furniture?"
Never did the umbrella jobs, but I quit the MSC over the Totes slipper stuff. Was supposed to be a reset which I had done previously, but for this more remote location the display was still in the back, making it a setup job. They refused to increase the pay for the assignment, despite the increase in time required to complete.

I had two near me. The first one was already built and merchandise on it. I rearranged to match the planogram. The second one was not assembled. It was time consuming and the screws of one of the D Handles did not match with the holes. Anything with an Allen wrench took time as it was difficult to hand tighten. Bad machining.

I'd call the location before applying find out if the display has been assembled.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.
