Anybody doing the jewelry merchandising in this location?
I took on 2 separate jobs there and heading out to do them today but already getting red flags like added instructions (having to remove part of a display or a whole display) that were not outlined in the general description. I am all about doing merchandising but not going to dismantle or build fixtures when they are added on to the original job AFTER I accept it.
We shall see. I will report back.

Never mind, I am cancelling this job. There was a LOT of information missing from the job description - a LOT.

10 foot pole ranking.
I haven’t done these, but people have mentioned in other threads that they end up being more involved than what the merchandising company originally stated. Smart call on the cancel.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
I've done them before and my only advice is wait till it gets to a higher fee and ask for a copy of the work order before you agree to do it. A reset vs reload are two very different things.
Reporting back, I ended up taking it when the fee went up AND they said to ask for more if needed (well duh). I did and they assigned it.
The job wasn't awful but it was a lot of pieces (I merch for Kalan so used to putting up hundreds of items at a visit) and it wasn't totally clear if the entire fixture was supposed to be reset (I didn't but did remove the seasonal put the new designs up and rearranged the rest of the fixture).
Took longer than I anticipated but at the higher negotiated rate still came out to over $20 an hour - not inlcuding mileage (didn't have any other work in the area and didn't have the other TA shop to do) so that was a deduction.
It came up again - URGENT but they didn't accept my offer (bumped it up) and it dropped off, now back to base pay.
No way.
