Permanent IC Merchendising Jobs

Back when I first mystery shopped 11 years ago, I also had a permanent IC merchandising job with a company called M3. They are now defunct. I have been trying to find a company that offers similar permanent positions, but everything I have found seems to be the type of work that Customer Impact and the merchandising part of Market Force offers, which seems to be nothing guaranteed long term.

With M3, I got a flat fee for visiting certain stores every week to manage a small promotional freezer. I made about a $100 a week for visiting 5 stores (all local). I averaged 2 to 3 hours a week doing it.

Does anyone know if these type of jobs still exist? I am not asking for names of companies, I just need to know if I am barking up the wrong tree as I cannot find anything like that near me, at least. I had a friend back then who did similar work and was responsible for straitening up potato chips. That was with a company called Castforce. I used to do gift card and store resets with them, but they are also defunct.

There is the truth.
Then there is the right thing to say.

Work for at least two W2 companies and maybe more. One company only does work in Wegmans so probably not i your area. The other is Crossmark. I believe Driveline employees are w2. SRS might be, too.
@ServiceAward, have you read through this thread: [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

Lots of comments about Merchandising companies. Hope this helps.
Yes, there are still quite a few.
I worked regularly for Lawrence doing merchandising in Target until my manager changed and it all went to crap.
I have a steady gig working for Kalan (novelty manufacturer) in 5 Below stores. You can generally find merchandising work on Indeed .

If by SRS you mean Strategic Retail Solutions, they are IC, and I do work for them. You can accept or reject the offers without any type of retribution, which I like. And I like that they are IC.
CCMI (Coast to Coast Merchandising & Installations) is also IC. Their work is sporadic, and I must say that, including myself, reps stay on long term, because the pay is very fair for the work, and the reporting is not cumbersome. I must also say that it's not easy to first get a job with them, because the reps don't leave. I remember when I first applied, I would look at the jobs and apply and apply.....it probably took a year of trying, and then I was finally assigned some jobs. So now there are certain jobs that I usually get when they show up on the board. One caveat: they still pay with paper checks, so if that's an issue for you, at least now you know. But they are a good company, at least IMHO. Here is a link to sign up:

No. Certified Field Associates.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown

No, not at all. You're thinking of Certified Marketing/Certified Field Associates.
