Apollo Retail Services ?

I saw a job posting for Apollo Retail Services. It looks like display and product set up which I like to do. This is a W-2 position but when I spoke to them they said it's piece work which is a red flag for me. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I did work for them about 5 years ago, so what I am writing is as of back then. I did a RTA furniture assembly at a Sears. I built a 6 x 6 foot entertainment center for the sales floor. I did this in a tiny space back in the stockroom, a couple of hours of work, for the princely sum of $18.90. Lesson learned. They also do bikes, grills, store gondolas, racking, new display set up type of work. You need lots of tools and strength. Hopefully they pay better now. They also do team work on the road. Good Luck.

They have a ton of listings on craigslist. This is one I pulled off today. Pretty much the same as when I gave them a whirl. If you are handy and really need a job, it could tide you over.
Sort of looks like one of those jobs that wouldn't cover it's own costs. When I spoke to them they quoted $15 as the piece rate. They seemed to be focused on finding someone that would work in consumers homes.
The only projects I think I could do would be small items in a well organized store that I'm already visiting for another company.
Anyone know of other companies that do this sort of thing?
