I'm not familiar with A&A either but always work for an hourly rate at least double what you quoted. The only job I do for a flat rate is Keurig and I get a far better deal with the $300+ kit of coffee, brewer, creamers, sugars, cups, display table, table cloths and accessories than the actual pay.
I work for several companies and can spend the day in one store or 2-3 mall stores, limiting my driving. But several merchandising companies pay mileage, admin time, printing expenses, report input time and even office supplies.
I suggest dropping A&A and picking up another company that is more in line with your goals, values your work and is pays favorably for your efforts.
