I am both a Mass Merchandiser & an AC in Arizona and have worked for Driveline for years. As of 1/1/13 no one claims mileage/drivetime. If during your work day you qualify for mileage/drivetime then it will be figured for you by corp and will up on you paycheck.
I know that other emails are stating that mileage/drivetime will be paid but as of 1/1/13 no longer.
I also rarely have 15 min jobs and if I do they are paired up with other jobs in the same store.

FYI- Natural Insight is a reporting system not a merchandising company.
I don't think I read Acosta on the list.
Also, Crossmark is good depending on what division you are with.

Driveline has a ton of 15 minutes jobs. Not work it at all.
Acosta which I understand is one of the largest recently purchased Mosiac which was pretty big also. I have worked for Mosaic for nearly 3 years and can state they are pretty good to work for. They do pay mileage in excess of 40 miles per day as well as commute time. They also pay travel time when going from one assignment to another.
Don't recommend Sunflower Staffing, but it might just be a "my area" issue.
I quit them today. Too frustrating, the discount stores are so disorganized that what should take 10 minutes ends up taking triple that just trying to find your shipper, labels, POP, like a giant scavenger hunt. I never did find it in the 2 stores I did yesterday. I won't even apply anywhere again that tells me they do work in Walmart, or other dollar type stores. In my area, there are not many merchandisers that will do a second assignment in a Walmart. Dollars stores are a close 2nd in the run away, run away, category. I'm sure there are great ones out there somewhere, they just aren't in this neck of the woods. Nice people at Driveline, just way under timed for the searching part of the assignments.
I once took a couple of assignments in a Wal-Mart which wound up not sucking nearly as much as I expected them to.

Yes, but it also depends on the individual store.
It is actually easier to get things done if you are a "regular" in the store. If you only go in once in a while for a project you will not get as much cooperation as a merchandiser that is in the same store every week.

I would also like to add that I was recently hired by Mosiac in Canada and I am very impressed with them. I am in charge of 3 stores and they pay travel time beyond 15 minutes/15 kilometres and also pay for travel/mileage .38 cents/kilometre time inbetween store visits. I get direct deposit into my bank account every 2 weeks. All reporting is done on a "Handheld" device and they also pay .10 cents per print-out I do at home.
