I receive a check from this company stating the wanted me to to complete some surveys it's seems like. A scam.

If you received a check in advance, it is a scam. If you were told to buy gift cards and send the codes to someone by email, it is a scam. If you cash the check, it will bounce. Go to the police. Contact the US Postal Inspectors.

Ardent is a legitimate company. The scammers are impersonating Ardent and other legitimate companies.

Jason, myst4u is correct. It's a scam. There is a company called Ardent Services but they are not the ones that sent you that check. Do not cash or deposit the fake check.
