Hello from California

Hi Everyone! I’m new in this. I just got a cashier’s check and a piece of paper with instruction on it from At Your Service Marketing. I deposited the check and it’s cleared already. The instruction said they are going to send me my assignment once the funds are there. My husband said it’s a scam that’s why I googled “mystery shipping” and found this forum. I’m going to verify with the company if this is legit.

That is a SCAM. No real MS company sends out a large check before the assignment is completed!!! They may hide behind the name of a legitimate MS company. BUT in about 2 weeks your bank will discover that your check was a fraud and you will owe the bank ALL of those funds. They may notify the police and the bank could put you on a list where other banks will not let you open and account.

Call your banks and tell them what you have found out! DO NOT remove one penny of those funds from your account for ANY reason. Just let the bank do that.

For a list of nearly 200 legitimate MS companies, see the list at the foot of the page here.

Welcome! We are all glad to help folks who are in your shoes! MS can be fun, and profitable. But it is real work and pay comes as small fees often $10 to $15 per shop for beginners, usually paid 30-60 days following the completion of each assignment.
