I enjoyed doing some shops several years ago. Now I'm a healthy senior & hope it won't limit possible assignments too much.

I'd appreciate any similar shoppers who'd care to share comments.

I am a healthy senior and have more shop offers than I care to accept. Many of us are seniors and very busy. The key is to sign up with lots of MSCs and then settle on the ones that have shops that benefit and interest you. For me that has been banks, other financial services, valet parking, and video shops for apartments and various flavors of senior living. Oh, yes, and nice hotels, but not the ones with super onerous reports. If you have a dining partner, there are also a ton of restaurant and bar shops out there that you can do, as well.

I have been a healthy senior and started shopping at 68 and seldom get denied a job due to age. Many companies now want a photo to see you look presentable. Few restaurants do want a certain demographic,
but there are so many companies to work for, easy to work around that. Great for seniors, many AARP jobs
the end of the year, groceries are a good help to supplement your income.

Live consciously....

14 months and 5 days before I retire. I have offers that I can't accept right now because I just don't have the time or energy. I currently do weekly, monthly, and quarterly projects for 4 companies. I can't wait to be free of this daily grind. This sassy senior will not be bored. I absolutely hate long narratives, but my husband is a wordsmith. His normal conversations are way too descriptive for the average person, but on paper he's my go to guy.

So I see myself accepting shops that I would normally avoid because of the report length. We will probably be doing a ton of restaurant shops and valet parking (arthritis lol ) Have fun anne123.

I've been retired for 10 years and do grocery shops only. I usually 2-3 a day, 3x a week. I do 4 large chains and they are very similar in the shop & reports. I can pretty much do these in my sleep and knock them out (6 departments, lane counts, restroom check, loose carts check,etc in 20 min. Add on 10-15 min for reports. No stress to make $300 a week. I used to do other shops but it's more efficient for me to specialize in one area since there are a ton of stores in L.A and the desert cities. Bonus: I never have been made as a shopper yet since I rotate the stores I pick every 3 months.
