Oh hi there. I'm what you would call an expert. Send me a PM if you have any questions.

Welcome Alex. Dave Pi is actually the resident busybody and not what most shoppers would call an expert. For expert advice, please amble on over to the New Mystery Shoppers area of the forum and read, read, read, the first dozen or so of the posts that are "pinned" to the top of the forum.

Welcome. Self-proclaimed experts usually aren't. Pay close attention to the words of those who are called experts by others, like walesmaven, LisaSTL, Flash, and others who share important information with mystery shoppers. DavePi shares jokes not knowledge.
I'm new too. Haven't worked yet, I'd like to know if this really worth it. I'm now retired and like to shop.
Hi and welcome yes, it's great for seniors. improves your lifestyle, go for it.....I am retired as well and do many restaurants.....for the most part, age doesn't matter and being productive is a good thing.

This response is also for your remark about paperwork. Yes. It might be worth it. Yes. There is a lot of paperwork. Depending upon the assignments you choose and your experiences with them, you may find that the paperwork is as little as a relatively small amount of your time or as much as too much for you in light of the time for tasks and the rest of your life. Paperwork includes prepping for assignments, completing reports, record-keeping, filing taxes or preparing data for a tax professional, etc. Here's hoping that you will have fun as you go along and try different types of shops and get a feel for what you like best. smiling smiley
