I recently started mystery shopping and was wondering if I should invest the money in the MSPA courses. Thoughts please?

I have not paid any money for training and don't feel like I've missed out on anything...

Thanks! I have been doing decent picking up shops without the training so far. I was wondering if there's a reason that I really need to do it but I am thinking there isn't.

Building your reputation for reliable, objective reporting in a variety of types of shops and with many MS companies is more important, by far. If you decide to get into video shops, training may be much more important, but the main sources of that are available outside of MSPA, through VideoPros and IMSC. For more info, search any of those terms for the last year and read up on the comments from experienced shopper.
