Welcome. Make use of the "new to mystery shopping" section here. I'm pretty new myself and found it quite helpful.
I am new toosmiling smiley I haven't done any assignments yet, but I am already nervous that I am being scammedsad smiley I was told that a check was sent to my house and it shows that it was delivered by USPS, but I didn't get it. And now the company is asking me to deposit it, but if I don't have it, what am I supposed to do???
Welcome, pksdst! Have you signed up with many companies yet? Lots of luck!

carms0808, yes, it's a scam. Do not deposit the check. It will bounce and you will have to make good on the funds. Think about it. Why would a company send a check to a stranger out of the blue for work that hasn't been done? Keep reading on the forum to learn more.

Hopefully you didn't deposit it. If you did not request the check (as in a refund), it's not yours. Stay with the companies on this forum site until you get your feet wet.
