Are there companies in New Jersey? Signed up with MF, but I have been reading some posts and it seems most of them are out of state or they schedule the shops far from your home. Thank You

It depends on where you are in NJ. Near NYC you still get some shops in NJ. If you are near Princeton, there are quite a few shops there also. It depends on what kinds of shops you want to do ?

Sign up with more companies! Use the Official List at the bottom of each screen for legitimate companies. With MF, you can self-assign so only sign up for shops you're willing to do. Also sign up with PrestoMaps. It will show you shops near you and it gives the MSC name so you know who to sign up with. PrestoMaps only shows jobs from the Sassie reporting platform, which means you're just seeing a small portion of the available jobs in your area. The key is to keep signing up with MSCs from the Official List.

It does not matter where the MS company is located! They mostly have clients all over the country. So, if you are not seeing enough shops you are probably not signed up with enough MSCs. Fifty would be a good start but if you really want a lot of shops and/or a lot of variety go for 100-150 MSCs, as many of us do.

Like posted above, you don't need to worry about where the MSCs offices are located. I do shops for 30 or so MSCs on a regular basis and 2 of them coincidentally happen to be located in my state, but that really doesn't matter at all, since they schedule all over the US. I am signed up with over 100 MSCs. Here are a few that I know have shops in most parts of the US: Alta Research, Bestmark, Marketforce, Maritz Research, and The Source (formerly Trendsource). There is a link below with a list of many more companies you can sign up with. Good luck and happy shopping!
